LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 23 is finally here! Several up-and-coming singing talents have already auditioned in the premiere round, and some of them have gotten their coaches. Kelly Clarkson has returned to the chair after a long hiatus.

Blake Shelton returned to the show for one last time. Niall Horan and Chance The Rapper are new to 'The Voice' chair. All the coaches competed for the best artists, but the final decision to join the team was always up to the contestants. However, social media sensation Sorellé chose Chance The Rapper over Blake.

Who are Sorelle on 'The Voice' Season 23?

Sorelle, which means sisters, consists of the sibling trio of Madi, 21, Ana, 20, and Bella, 15. They are from Lexington, Ohio. Sorelle are a social media sensation with 3.2 million followers on TikTok. Ana and Madi first formed the group and added Bella in 2019. The sisters' trio career changed during the pandemic. For six months, the sisters released a new single every month. Bella is a seventh-grader at Lexington Junior High. Meanwhile, Madi studies TikTok to see what's hot, and Ana works on editing and releasing videos before the three join forces. Sorellé was formed as a duo when Madi was 6 and Ana was 5. The sister duo caused a stir on social media when they released a cover of 'All About That Bass,' a hit song by Meghan Trainor. The video was "liked" by Trainor and posted again, making Sorellé a viral phenomenon. Later, the young girls caught the attention of casting producers and appeared on Nickelodeon's 'America's Most Musical Family' in 2019. After Bella joined the group, Sorellé's cover of Vengaboys' Boom Boom' went viral, reaching over 12 million views on TikTok.

Sorelle picks Chance the Rapper as coach

Sorelle performs harmony of Queen's 'Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy' during the blind auditions of 'The Voice.' This was their first time performing on stage as a trio. Blake was the fifth coach to turn his chair around in front of Chance. Sorelle's parents jumped with excitement after the chairs were turned around. Shelton said, "I've worked with a lot of young people, had a lot of success with young people," adding, "I would be honored to have you on the last Team Blake. However, Niall regrets the decision of not turning the chair." Kelly praised the girls, saying, "I thought it was really cool what you were doing." She added, "It's really hard to hold onto those dissonant harmonies all at once and not waver. That was really well done. I'm really stoked to see what you gonna do on this show." Chance praised their 'theatrical' style and potential as young artists, and Sorellé ultimately chose the rapper. The rapper added, "I was kind of hesitant about some of the dissonant harmonies you guys were putting together, but I started to notice over time that it was intentional really giving it this theatrical, almost show-tunes feel to it, that I think is really dope."

Did Chance The Rapper turn chair to compete with Blake Shelton?

Chance turned his chair soon after Blake did and viewers think that he did this just to compete. While social media users like their performance, some think that Chance is not a good choice. A social media user wrote, "This show is horrrrribllleee because they just turn their chair to compete with one another. They don’t even listen to the singer." Another user said, "@sorellemusic would've been perfect to be on team @niallhoran or even team @kellyclarkson." Another user added, "Should’ve went with Blake better off than chance." Another user commented, "I was hoping Blake would win this season, but Chance CAME TO WIN!" Meanwhile, another user tweeted, "You should have picked @blakeshelton."
