Who are James Corden's parents? Margaret and Malcolm Corden are his 'biggest fans and greatest defenders'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: James Corden celebrated his final show on CBS 'The Late Late Show' on Thursday. Both of his parents Margaret and Malcolm Corden who flew across the Atlantic were present and in tears, while Corden cracked a joke about her mother having Botox to help all from breaking into tears.
Even if his mother told him to "P*** off," according to a report, his parents are still his "biggest fans and greatest defenders." They are the only ones who can critique his job or refer to him as a "part" or a "d*******" if he ever breaks the line.

James' parents have always supported him
Malcolm is a musician in the Central Band of the Royal Air Force which explains James' talent and love for music and comedy and Margaret is a social worker as per the Daily Mail, but is said to be really funny. The IMBD profile of Malcolm Corden, 72 says he was born in 1951 in Cheadle, Staffordshire, England. He is married to Margaret Corden and the couple has three children, James Corden, and Andrea Corden Ruth Corden.
Margaret, 71, is also familiar with working in the entertainment industry as per her IMBD profile. The credits on the profile include WWE Raw (1993), Entertainment Tonight (1981), and Astro Royal (2000). James' mother was born in England as well in 1952 as reported by the Sun.
Even when he engages in negative behavior, James' parents have always supported him. On one occasion in 2018, after lending his voice to the character in the animated feature film Peter Rabbit, Mark Kermode criticized his work in the movie. Malcolm Corden objected to Kermode's portrayal of his son.
'We are the only ones who have permission to describe him appallingly irritating'
In a video posted to Kermode's YouTube channel, the celebrity revealed the letter he received from Corden's father after his review of Peter Rabbit. Simon Mayo, Kermode's co-host, read the letter aloud: "To hear you describe our son as appallingly irritating … was very difficult to listen to. I’m sure you will agree that as parents we are the only ones who have permission to describe our own offspring as appallingly irritating … one sincerely hopes that you never have to hear someone else describe your children as such, especially live on air and especially as it seemed James was the only one drawn out for any criticism.”
James joked mother for Botox
On his last show, the 44-year-old comedian said, "My mum and dad are here. Are you okay, mum, dad, are you holding it together?' he asked his parents. His mother Margaret pretended to be alright before sobbing. Margaret remarked, fighting back tears, "Until you ask me to give you a kiss before we came on and then I was gone." James attempted to lighten the atmosphere by saying, "I didn't even know you could move your face that much since all of your Botox," to which Margaret replied, "Oh p**s off."
