The much-awaited Actor Awards 2026 arrive before the Oscars, giving Hollywood stars the shine they deserve. Previously known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the ceremony has a new name ahead of its premiere this weekend. Inspired by the show's statuette, the name change comes on the back of providing clear recognition to the stars. Ahead of the marquee event, here's a quick primer on the Actor Awards this year.
When and where to watch the Actor Awards 2026?
The 32nd edition of the Actor Awards streams live on Netflix on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The event goes live from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Who is the host this year?
'Gossip Girl' star Kristen Bell returns as the host again this year. Sunday's assignment marks the third time she will emcee the awards ceremony after previously hosting it in 2018 and 2025. "I’m just very grateful that it’s me, because I like entertaining, and I like being goofy, and I like making people smile," she told Tudum earlier. "So to be given this stage, it feels like an award in and of itself,” she said. She also teased that she may sing again."
