From 'Casino Royale' to 'No Time to Die': Here's where to stream all five Daniel Craig James Bond films
It's good news for James Bond fans. Netflix has added all five of Daniel Craig's 007 films to their roster. While the search for his successor continues, fans now have a chance of catching all five of his films, starting with 'Casino Royale' (2006). Craig followed up with grittier performances in 'Quantum of Solace' (2008), 'Skyfall' (2012), 'Spectre' (2015), and 'No Time to Die' (2021).
'Casino Royale' introduced the world to a hulking and brutish Bond, who over the course of the next few films became a household name. His 15-year-run as the legendary spy saw him add more emotion to the character, making him look his most human in his final outing with 'No Time to Die'. While the movies came with their own flaws, the Craig era also ushered in new fans for the franchise.
Craig's final hurrah as the character in 'NTTD' left fans divided with the ending. While Bond was supposed to make it out of even the most perilous of situations, he appeared to meet his match against Rami Malek's Lyutsifer Safin. According to Netflix, the logline reads, "It’s been five years since Bond retired from MI6, but when his CIA buddy Felix (Wright) comes knocking with a mission, Bond can’t resist getting back in the game."
"But his extraction of a programmable nanobot bioweapon from the mansion of a Cuban criminal doesn’t go as planned, and Bond’s race to recover the weapon before England’s enemies deploy it leads him back into the arms of Madeleine Swann (Seydoux), a former lover. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time to Die also stars Waltz, Whishaw, Fiennes, Harris, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, and Ana de Armas."
At the time of writing, there is no word on whether the rest of the Bond films will hit the streamer. But what is making waves is the candidate list to replace Bond. One of them was Callum Turner. Per GQ UK, Turner is now the "red hot" favorite to be Bond, taking over Daniel Craig. "As one of the more quietly impressive British actors of his generation, we’ve been advocates for him to take over as 007,” the publication said.
"You’ll find within him a complex, brooding darkness, occasionally breaking through the edifice of his runway-grade handsome looks." According to The Daily Mail, Turner, who shot to prominence with 'Fantastic Beasts', has been telling friends that the role is his, though the news is yet to be officially confirmed.
