Where are Tanya Scott and Samantha Ortiz now? What 'Little Women: Atlanta' stars are doing after quitting show
We haven't seen or heard of Tanya Scott or her makeup artist friend Samantha Ortiz since the duo left 'Little Women: Atlanta' ahead of the show's Season 5 premiere. While we eagerly wait for the upcoming Season 6 of Lifetime's hit reality show, we began wondering what two of our favorite little women have been up to since leaving the show.
Where is Tanya Scott now?
After making a guest appearance on Season 2 of 'Little Women: Atlanta', Tanya was bumped to the position of a main cast member in Season 3. The Virginia Beach resident moved her base to Atlanta with the hopes of expanding her health and wellness company called Life Body Naturals. She continued to entertain fans until Season 4 with her constant baby daddy drama while juggling between her career and kids.
When Tanya abruptly announced her exit from the show ahead of Season 5, neither she nor Lifetime network provided any explanation or clarification about her sudden departure. Fans were left hanging in the dark over what prompted their favorite little entrepreneur to leave the show. Several rumors began doing the rounds that the reality star left the show to focus on her company's growth and expansion.
A cursory glance at Tanya's Instagram profile will show you that she has kept herself pretty busy since her exit from the show. Her Instagram posts feature her promoting her company's health and wellness products. According to the star's LinkedIn page, she set up Life Body Naturals in August 2018 after all the creams and ointments prescribed for her daughter Luna's eczema failed to help her.
She wrote, "Life Body Naturals was originally birthed as a product of my family's needs. My daughter Luna had HORRIBLE eczema and none of the topical creams or ointments that were prescribed to her helped her symptoms. Luna was still itchy, red, and scaly from her eczema flare-ups. I said enough is enough!"
She continued, "This motivated me to formulate Luna's Zen Moisturizer and the Luna's Zen Collection product line. Once I noticed the product formula worked on my daughter, I began selling the product and founded my company Life Body Naturals."
Tanya added, "As a Certified Herbalist, I have the education and knowledge of what natural herbs and plants will help us all HEAL. Holistic, organic, and healthy living is important. Life Body Naturals has alternative methods of healing with a focus on eliminating the use of prescription medicines for our consumers. In addition to our Luna's Zen Collection, we have Herbal Teas and Detox Kits available for purchase to promote infusing mind and body. Balance is Key!"
Prior to setting up her company and starring on a reality show, Tanya was an exotic dancer. After failing to secure a job following her high school graduation, the reality star turned to exotic dancing to pay her bills. However, she soon quit the job after she got pregnant with her first child. In an interview, she revealed, "I loved the money but the sexual attention got aggravating," We will be seeing Tanya return on Season 6 as a guest star.
Samantha Ortiz
Samantha, a makeup artist, who happens to be a close friend of Tanya moved to Atlanta to help the reality star with managing her home and kids. Samantha was introduced as a guest star during Season 2. She soon became a recurring cast member once her housemate became a permanent cast member of 'Little Women: Atlanta'.
She later became a main cast member during Season 4, but just like Tanya, she too quit the show ahead of Season 5 without citing any reasons. Since her exit from the show, Samantha has been working hard on building her brand, Sams Glam Shop, an online shopping portal that sells glitter palettes, faux mink lashes and various other beauty products.
According to the company's website, it was set up in 2017 and is considered to be one of the leading online Beauty Makeup Stores. "Established on determination, loyalty hard work and commitment, Sam's Glam Shop provides exceptional beauty products, services, and expertise to a wide range of clients."
"Our team of beauty educators are here to provide all of your beauty needs, making sure you walk out satisfied with your next purchase. Over the next few years, our company hopes to expand its selection of beauty products as well as the brands we work with," states the website.
'Little Women: Atlanta' Season 6 premieres on January 22 at 9/8c on Lifetime.
