Andrew Garfield and Jude Law's first looks as renowned illusionists, Roy and Sigfried, in Apple TV's new biopic series, 'Wild Things'. For those unaware, the German-born showmen made a name for themselves as they shot to fame through their magic acts during Las Vegas shows. At the time of writing, there is no official release date for the series.

The latest marks another major role for Garfield as the eight-episode series directed by Matt Shakman looks at the showmen's relationship as they navigate a life where the concept of illusion is pushed to another level. The series captures the height of their fame along with the tragedy and mystery that follows after their last fateful Vegas show. Earlier, insider Jeff Sneider revealed the first look at Garfield and the 'Sherlock Holmes' star, and they look unrecognizable in their avatars. "A peek from the set of WILD THINGS starring Jude Law and Andrew Garfield as Siegfried & Roy..." the tweet read.

From the romantic history to the tragedy when Roy was mauled by a white tiger onstage, the Apple TV series is expected to comprehensively cover their times. The incident brought an end to the iconic duo's performances. Roy died of COVID-19 complications in November 2020, and Siegfried passed away in January 2021. Together, they performed over 30,000 times across their decorated careers before the freak incident cut down their time onstage.

Per the official synopsis, "Wild Things tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo pushes the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show."

The complete cast of 'Wild Things' also includes Justin Bartha, Cameron Britton, Bill Heck, Justin Theroux, Jessica Madsen, Brett Gelman, and Darius Fraser. The series is executive produced by Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, and Natalie Berkus. Additional executive producers include Steven Leckart, Tony Leondis, Kathy Ciric, and Will Malnati.

At the time of writing, speculations are rife that the series may premiere sometime by the end of the year. The episodes are expected to be hour-long, and with production starting in the fall last year, only time will tell if Apple TV drops a major surprise with a 2026 release date.
