Kaley Cuoco races against time in first look images from MGM+ mystery thriller 'Vanished'

Kaley Cuoco's world is turned upside down in the new photos from MGM+'s 'Vanished'. Slated for a February 2026 release, the four-part series follows a couple, Alice (Kaley Cuoco) and Tom (Sam Claflin), vacationing in the romantic city of Paris. However, all hell breaks loose when Tom suddenly goes missing, leaving Alice to uncover a dangerous conspiracy and the shocking truth. While the storyline already looks intriguing, the first images suggest the wait will be even harder than expected.

The recently released pictures from 'Vanished' paint an intriguing image of the show's characters, where a determined and distressed Alice is at the centre. Alice's boyfriend Tom's disappearance plunges her into a web of intrigue and danger, revealing shocking secrets about him. Reportedly, 'Vanished' is set to premiere on MGM+ in the U.S. and several other territories on February 1, 2026, with weekly episodes. Audiences in the U.K., Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia can stream the full series on Prime Video, as per ScreenRant

The series marks Cuoco's return to the mystery genre after her comedic mystery role in 'Based on a True Story' and her Emmy-nominated performance in 'The Flight Attendant', though 'Vanished' takes a darker tone. Claflin, known for 'The Hunger Games', 'Daisy Jones & The Six, Lazarus', and 'Peaky Blinders', brings his suspense experience to the series.

MGM+ executives have praised 'Vanished' for combining classic Hollywood storytelling with a modern sensibility, calling it both "captivating" and "immersive." The series combines elements of suspense, mystery, romance, and thrilling twists, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Paris and Marseille. Notably, when 'Vanished' was announced, Tushar Jindal, head of content acquisitions at Prime Video UK, said, "With Kaley and Sam leading an incredible cast, this gripping thriller will keep viewers guessing at every turn." He added, "We're delighted to bring Vanished to Prime Video in the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, and we can't wait for audiences to be swept up in the mystery," as per RadioTimes.

'Vanished' also features an extensive international cast, including Karin Viard, Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian, and Dar Zuzovsky, as per The Upcoming. Filmed on location in Paris and Marseille, the series is directed by Barnaby Thompson and written by Preston Thompson. Cuoco also serves as executive producer alongside David Kosse, James Clayton, and AGC Studios' Stuart Ford.
