GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: We all know that one YouTuber who offers crazy cash prizes for simple challenges. For example, whoever keeps their hand on the private jet the longest gets it! This internet sensation is MrBeast, who has 130 million subscribers and also calls himself the super official CEO of Twitter. The Internet star known for giving back to the community, decided to cure the blindness of 1,000 people by paying for their simple eye surgery.

MrBeast gathered a thousand people who suffered from a visual impairment that led to blindness. He found people from all over the world and had their severe cataracts removed in  non-profit eye care organization SEE International. However, he went one step further! MrBeast is known for giving away cash prizes and expensive cars to his followers and people in general. The YouTuber also gave away $10,000 to a number of patients, bought one a Tesla, and even donated $50,000 to someone else's college fund. To top it all off, he also donated $100,000 to SEE International. As one of the top earners on the platform, he could be seen taking bandages off people. Many of them were touched after regaining their sight. One patient, Charlie, had to quit his job after losing his sight. MrBeast gave him $10,000.

One patient said, "I just haven't been me for the last 62 years. I can actually see your face." Another patient said, "Seeing him, seeing his face, you know, that's what I miss the most." One more patient said, "I can see everybody's facial features now. It's a little blurry with my tears coming out." The procedure appears to be phacoemulsification, which SEE International specializes in. As MrBeast explains, doctors make a small incision in the eye and suck out the cloudy cataract lens. Then an artificial lens is inserted. The surgeon in the video says many people lose their sight because they can not afford a 10-minute surgery. It can cost up to $6,000 for patients without insurance.

What is MrBeast's real name?

MrBeast is only 24 years old and has a huge following on all major social media platforms. His real name is Jimmy Donaldson, who is mentioned by his video colleagues in almost every video. In the YouTube race, Jimmy is the most subscribed individual and the fourth most subscribed channel overall. It all started when he posted videos on YouTube in early 2012 at the age of 13, appreciating the wealth of other YouTubers and posting gaming videos.

Another patient of MrBeast was a boy named Jeremiah who had been blind in his right eye since birth. There was only a 50 per cent chance that the surgery would be successful. He then received a check for $50,000 from the YouTuber, telling him, "I don't even think this is real, like I'm waiting to wake up." The video currently has more than 41 million views and is trending. He also received a Tesla.

Man's going RIGHT to Heaven" One more user wrote, "so much respect for him. this is the type of content i wanna see him make, it’s very inspiring. A user tweeted, "a ten minute surgery that can cost as much as people's monthly mortgage payment in the US cause privatized healthcare, big up MrBeast for this" Another user said, "A genuinely good guy. Anyone who hates is simply jealous" One more user quipped, "Also, 1000 People is a lot of money. I don't know how you found 1000 blind people. But , there was probably a lot that went into it behind the scenes. Keep doing good for good reasons. Be blessed."
