LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Harriet the Spy' is an animated adventure television series that follows the life of a young girl who wants to be a writer and believes she needs to know everything. Because of her belief, the young girl became a spy to know everything. The film adaptation, starring Michelle Trachtenberg and Rosie O'Donnell, was released in 1996.
'Harriet the Spy,' loosely based on Louise Fitzhugh's novel of the same name, was created by Will McRobb, who also co-wrote the show with Terissa Kelton and John W Hyde, and directed by Allison Craig. Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, John W Hyde, Terissa Kelton, Wendy Moss-Klein, and Nancy Steingard serve as executive producers, and Sidney Clifton serves as producer.

What is the plot of ‘Harriet the Spy’ Season 2?
Set in 1960s New York, 'Harriet the Spy' follows Harriet M Welsch, an 11-year-old girl who is vocal and always curious. She aspires to be an accomplished writer and feels that to do so, she needs to understand everything, which means she must spy on everyone.
There hasn't been an exact synopsis for Season 2 yet, but it is believed that the five-episode Season 2 will pick up where Season 1 left off. The 23-minute episode will once again follow Harriet as she enlists the help of her close companions to uncover big stories and finds herself breaking the rules, spying, and much more. The novel goes on to explore the themes of observation versus understanding, the power of words, and developing empathy.
