LOS ANGELE, CALIFORNIA: 'Harriet the Spy' returns for a second season on Apple TV+ as part of a broadened slate of family-oriented programming, with Apple moving forward with its partnership with The Jim Henson Company. The story of the animated TV series is loosely based on Louise Fitzhugh's book of the same name. The show follows Harriet M Welch, who desires to be a writer and feels that to be an outstanding writer, she must know everything, which enables her to be a spy.
Will McRobb, co-creator of the classic 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete', wrote and executive produced the animated series. The show's executive producers are Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, John W Hyde, Terissa Kelton, Wendy Moss-Klein, and Nancy Steingard. Sidney Clifton serves as the producer. Titmouse Animation Studios has provided animation for the popular series.
