'Below Deck Down Under' Season 4 Episode 11 sees Mike Durrant lie to a guest and it may cost him big time
‘Below Deck Down Under’ Season 4 Episode 11 titled 'Soapy Eggs' featured deckhand/stew, Mike Durrant, getting himself into trouble. This happened after he accidentally spilled a secret about the charter guest’s plans. The latest episode focused on the primary guest, Tyler, and his friends. He planned on getting into his drag queen outfit and enjoying his time there. However, he wanted to keep this a secret, which the crew had been notified about earlier. But things did not go as planned, as Mike shared the secret with Tyler's friends.
During lunch, Tyler, the primary guest, was in his cabin, putting on his makeup and outfit. While the rest of the guests were on the deck, Mike mentioned that Tyler was getting ready for “Tyler Paul’s Drag Race.” He also asked them whether there was a “makeup artist on board.” Unaware of Tyler’s surprise, the guests asked whether Tyler had “smuggled” an artist on board. Soon, Mike realized that he had spilled the secret and spoke about the same in his confessional, “Oh God. This is a big f**k up.” Further in the episode, he asked fellow crew member Daisy whether the guests were aware that the makeup artists were in Tyler’s cabin. “No, you didn’t tell them,” she responded. Mike then defended himself and told her that no one informed him about keeping it a secret.
The latest ‘Below Deck Down Under’ episode then featured a flashback scene from before the guests’ arrival. Daisy was seen reading the preference sheet. Fellow crew members, along with Mike, were present when she noted that the primary guest wanted to keep the situation “under wraps.” Referring to that, she told Mike, “The primary’s going to be pissed when he finds out. I’m being dead serious. He’s going to lose his s**t.” Later, Tyler confronted Mike about the same, asking, “Question. Did you release the cat out of the bag that I had a makeup artist come on board?” In response, Mike lied. He told the guest he did not spill the secret. He then smiled and added that if he learned who did, he would let Tyler know.
During his confessional, Mike said that there was only one way to get away with what he had done, and that was to “deny, deny, and deny.” In a preview, Captain Jason Chambers is seen gathering the crew for an important announcement. By the looks of it, it seems like a serious conversation, which might be about Mike's actions. The Captain announces, “I don’t take making changes lightly.” He addresses the crew and notes, “Your behavior has forced my hand. I need you to leave the boat today.” However, the preview ends before revealing who is being reprimanded for their behavior. The next episode of the show will shed more light on the situation on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
