It had started with manipulating a new boy toy into murdering her abusive older beau, and now Freddy (Hermione Corfield) has already caused the murder of three men within the short span of three days. There's a certain grip Freddy has on this new guy Baba (Dipo Ola), whom the phone sex worker met on a night of getting almost raped by the older guy, Simon. Freddy then made Baba kill not just Simon, but also another guy Matt whom she owed a whole lot of money, and in the process an innocent drunken passerby at their crime scene. DI Jackson Mendy (Babou Ceesay) and DS Lola Franks (Eve Myles) are onto her, and despite being suave and smart, it looks like Freddy is pretty much getting busted by Lola in the next episode.

The trailer for the upcoming Episode 3 of the British crime thriller 'We Hunt Together' teases another round of chat between the detectives and Freddy. They seem to be in a quiet restaurant, sipping on coffee, as Freddy is interrogated about her involvement with Straight to Third Date, a premium hook-up app. Freddy seems to have been busted about where she knows Matt from after she so blatantly lied to the detectives in the previous episode about having met him the night Simon tried forcing himself on her. Freddy admits she lied, only to twist the narrative in her favor once again. She claims she was a member of the app clarifying it is not an escort service and elaborates on how Matt was totally obsessed with Simon after having one night out with him.

Freddy's story panders towards Matt killing Simon and then hanging himself as part of a vengeful murder-suicide scheme. But Lola constantly keeps countering her on how there was literally zero evidence of Simon being gay. Freddy then expertly discusses the 'darkness' inside Matt. She says she's not surprised he did what he did because there's a certain kind of darkness within him that's prevalent in most people. Once again very contemplative, she tries to misdirect the authorities, but Lola is onto her.

There has been quite the confusion over the way Freddy's twisted mind works. We know Baba's background and we know of Lola's Jessica and drug problem. Jackson is as clear a picture as an open book. Somehow, it is only Freddy's mysteriously disturbing love for the kill and violence is still unexplained but looks like not for long. The trailer shows Lola, a seasoned detective, looking at Freddy in the eye while her new boss Jackson can't help hide his chuckles at Freddy's constant deflection. It's obvious they are not buying anything she says anymore and ar focusing on pinning her to the crime. It's over. Or Is it?
