LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The horror genre has seen a recent resurgence thanks to some wildly successful films. Netflix is now gearing up for the premiere of its original family-friendly horror movie 'We Have a Ghost'. The streamer calls it "a supernatural adventure comedy," and one can expect 'We Have a Ghost' to elicit screams of only the laughter variety. Netflix's official synopsis of the movie reads, "After finding a ghost with a murky past haunting their new house, a family becomes internet sensations — and the targets of a shadowy government agency."

Directed by Christopher Landon and based on Geoff Manaugh's short story 'Ernest' (2017), 'We Have a Ghost' comes with a wonderful ensemble cast including David Harbour as Ernest, Anthony Mackie as Frank, Jahi Di'Allo Winston as Kevin and Erica Ash and Jennifer Coolidge in unnamed roles. Released in 2020, 'The Babysitter: Killer Queen' is a direct sequel to 2017's 'The Babysitter'. This black comedy horror film unfolds two years after Cole Johnson (played by Judah Lewis) witnesses the exposure of the satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee (played by Samara Weaving). The friends' group of Cole and Melanie go for a lake party, where the former's past comes to haunt him in a twisted surprise. With Cole's life in danger, he must save himself and his newfound love Phoebe (played by Jenna Ortega) in this outrageously twisted flick. With the return of several cast members from the first part and the racy storyline with humor spread throughout, 'The Babysitter: Killer Queen' could be a great choice for a relaxed movie night.
