“And now, born from the ashes, she’s a warrior in bloodied black...” Amie Kaufman penned down in her book ‘Gemina’. Will Cinemax's ‘Warrior’ meet an end like that? In its seventh episode ‘If You Wait By The River Long Enough’, the series seems to be edging towards a new beginning. And to start anew, you need to kill the old and obsolete things from your life. The Episode 7 teaser suggests something similar in Penelope Blake's (Joanna Vanderham) life!

In a 35-second clip from the next episode, Wang Chao (Hoon Lee) says, “If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will come floating by.” In another scene, we see Ah Toy (Olivia Cheng) say, “Just finish him...” and in another snippet, Nellie seems to give a piece of advice to Ah Toy: “Well, you can't have a business partner you don't trust.” In one mysterious scene, Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) overpowers Li Yong (Joe Taslim) and grabs him by the throat. Bill O'Hara (Kieran Bew) says, “You trying to surprise me...” as we see Dylan O'Leary fighting on the streets.

But it is the final scene that will make you hold your breath! Seemingly, after a confession with her sister Sophie Mercer (Céline Buckens), Penelope Blake has a major confrontation with her husband — Mayor Samuel Blake (Christian McKay) where he tells her: “I am through indulging this fantasy!”

In a major brawl, the two end up pushing and smashing each other's heads. The mystery intensifies and Penny can be seen lying on the ground after a violent fight. Of course, Samuel is much more powerful than her and it seems difficult that she could fight back. But, will she finally manage to kill the Mayor? Or will it be Sophie or someone else close to her who may save her life? Well, we will have to wait and watch what really unfolds in the thrilling series. The video ends with Ah Sahm's (Andrew Koji) words: “No one ever just lets go,” as he talks to Young Jun (Jason Tobin).

After catching a glimpse of all that's yet to come, one fan said, “I wanna see... Penny confronting her sister...” and another wrote, “I think penny will turn to Ah Sahm to help her kill her husband...” A third posted, “I am so proud of Penny. She’s gone through the shit but grown one hell of a backbone.” And a fourth added, “4 more episodes. I want: Bill, Lee & Young Hop Wei team up... Penny's factory rebuilt, Ah Sahm Leary rematch, Ah Sahm Li Yong rematch, A throne scene.”

Directed by Kenneth Lin, the episode will air on November 13, 2020, and may show a major change in Penny and Sophie's life. Perhaps, they will finally get rid of Samuel — but can Penny forgive Sophie for what she did to her factory?
