Spoilers for 'WandaVision' Episode 3

As 'WandaVision' inches more towards reality over the seemingly funny, yet fake world where the events take place, Episode 3 of the Marvel miniseries now poses baffling questions. While we all thought that Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) created the world of her own, loosely based on the House of M comic storyline, there also seems to be an inkling that this may have been SWORD's doing. The organization that stands for Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division seems to have a key hand in what's happening to Wanda.

A clear example of this theory is the final minutes of the episode where Geraldine (Teyonah Parris) gets thrown out of the world that Wanda is in. The episode sees Wands grappling with pregnancy, and gives birth to the two twins — Billy and Tommy, only for her friend to talk about Wanda's brother, Pietro Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) who was killed in Sokovia by Ultron in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron). Geraldine reminds Wanda that Pietro was killed by the android created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

This leads to Wanda ejecting Geraldine from the fantasy world/dimension that she's created. Geraldine finds herself surrounded by agents of sorts, presumably SWORD. Last week, we theorized if she was a SWORD agent and it does appear she is one and was sent in for a purpose which she may have failed.

There is also that question of who created the fake reality. Could it be SWORD themselves? If so, this may mean they're not the organization that we may all thought it would be. If they are to be another HYDRA-like entity, this may also imply that Wanda was possibly nabbed by the organization that may be experimenting on her, and Wanda, in a bid to escape may have created a safe haven for herself in the form of Westview.

All this, of course, is pure speculation. But with the quirky and enigmatic series 'WandaVision' has been, only time will tell how things will pan out over the course of the series.

'WandaVision' Episode 3 is available for streaming on Disney+.
