The new trailer of 'Wakanda Forever' took the world by storm and also had new footage that has had MCU ardents in a tizzy. From Letitia Wright's Shuri suiting up as the new Black Panther to Riri Williams taking flight as Ironheart, the movie has ample yay! moments while also paying an emotional and fitting tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman in the form of stirring trailer music. One of the characters in focus apart from the usual names is Angela Bassett's Queen Ramonda and her fate in the film. There have been theories floating about and it doesn't look good for the character.

The official synopsis reads, "In Marvel Studios’ 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda."

Will Angela Bassett's Ramonda die in 'Wakanda Forever'?

Reddit theories have been buzzing with potential leaks and one of them predicts the queen's death. Safe to say, Shuri sobbing uncontrollably in a blink-and-miss scene in the trailer, just might confirm this theory. A Brazilian account that has leaked the complete plot on the stream suggests that Ramonda will be one of the casualties in the war between Namor and Wakanda.

The description reads: "Namor floods all of Nigeria, causing a genocide just to get to Wakanda, which is also affected by a tsunami that kills thousands, including Queen Ramonda. The US finds out that Queen Ramonda has died and decides to break ties with Wakanda, declaring war on the country." If this is surely the end of Wakanda, then like Okoye says in 'Avengers: Infinity War', it will surely be the greatest ending ever. While these leaks will surely be a topic of discussion, much of it may be true or just some really good piece of theorizing. Only time will tell if Ramonda does make the cut or kick the bucket.

'Wakanda Forever' releases on November 11 in the US.
