Formally known as Tity Boi, 2 Chainz has been ready for a matchup and previously wanted to battle Meek Mill, who respectfully declined. He has also challenged Gucci Maine, Tip, Jeezy, T.I., and Ludacris to a Verzuz Battle.

It looks like numerous fans are rooting for 2 Chainz in the upcoming battle. "Folks who saying Rick Ross gonna smoke chainz gotta be people who think Tity boi is someone else," said a fan while another wrote, "Y’all frontin like 2 Chainz ain’t make Big Amount and Good Drank. And when he morphs into Tity Boi and plays Duffle Bag Boy. Stop sleeping on my guy." One fan said, "2chainz is fire & good competition for Ross. Lookin forward to this. Y’all better stop playin with tity boi."

There are also many supporters for Rick Ross, who posted comments like, "Def gotta tune into this Ross win. No disrespect to Tity Boi" and "What’s Tity Boi gonna play when Ross plays his 'Devil In A New Dress' or 'Lord Knows' verses???" One fan wrote, "That's not even fair. Tity Boi got some hits, but Rozay on another level."

Before the Rick Ross vs 2 Chainz battle was settled, Timbaland had asked Verzuz followers, "What's the next @verzuzonline?!" His question came with some responses from artistes themselves, such as Juicy J who said, "Juicy j vs Nas," and Missy Elliott, who tease suggested a battle with herself. "Missy Vs Misdemeanor I'm just playing." When it comes to the Verzuz followers, many have been imagining the ultimate matchup since Timbaland's question. Fans have suggested a Soulja Boy vs Bow Wow, an Ashanti vs Keyshia Cole, and even a boyband matchup of NSYNC vs Backstreet Boys.
