Katt Williams Verzuz Kevin Hart? Fans say ‘Katt would get washed’

The 50-year-old comedian did not hesitate to take a dig at Kevin Hart while speaking to Baltimore radio host Perisa Nicole recently

Verzuz battleground is the perfect place to settle scores and time and again we have seen rappers taking shades at each other during their performances. Now, it looks like comedian and actor Katt Williams is willing to lock horns with another funnyman- Kevin Hart and that too on Verzuz. The former during an appearance on a radio channel spoke about a hypothetical Verzuz showdown with Hart saying that he would definitely go against Hart if the opportunity ever comes to him.

However, the 50-year-old comedian also did not hesitate to take a dig at Kevin Hart while speaking to Baltimore radio host Perisa Nicole recently. He said that going against Hart would be “almost cheating for him” as he has more than 10 specials. Williams added that his only competition was the late comedian, Richard Pryor. Social media users rushed to Twitter to extend to argue over who would win the Verzuz battle if it happens for real.

‘It’s almost cheating for me. I have over 10 specials’

Kat Williams, during his interview, as reported by Complex, said, “It’s almost cheating for me. I have over 10 specials”, adding “I don’t have to pick but two jokes from each special and I’ve already deaded anyone whose last name isn’t Pryor anyway.” He also claimed that he was the first one to go for “comedically beefing” way before Swizz Beatz and Timbaland created the Verzuz platform.  Kevin Hart is yet to revert to Williams’ statements.
 
The ‘Friday After Next’ hitmaker had also challenged Kevin Hart for a $5 million battle back in 2016 where he insisted that they could do anything Hart desires for the money. At the time, Kevin Hart had slammed Williams after he sat for an interview on The Breakfast Club. “My frustration with Katt Williams comes from, you keep pointing at Hollywood. ‘Hollywood this, the White man this and this,’ when are you going to take responsibility for your actions? You had the shot! You were the guy! You were set up to be the star.” The 42-year-old comedian had added, “You didn’t show up to work. You f**ked off promo shoots. You f**ked off your promo trips that they set up for you. You became a risk to the studios, which is why the studios stopped f**king with you.” Hard further stated, “So when you say Tiffany Haddish doesn’t deserve or isn’t really a comedian and these other women have worked hard, which they have. Katt Williams, have you ever used your platform to f**king bring the people under you up? You haven’t! So because you haven’t, don’t s**t on those that are!”

‘Kevin so Hollywood now he gonna need a script’

While we are yet to see Williams and Hart going head-to-head in a comical battle, social media users had a ball while discussing as to who will take the crown if the face-off ever happens. One shared, “Katt is broke funny Kevin is rich funny a very big difference.” Whereas, another stated, “Kevin Hart agreeing to do a versus with Katt Williams would be like Michael Jordan finally agreeing to that one on one with Lavar Ball.”
 
One user claimed, “Katt would get washed” and another tweeted, “Kevin will cook Katt. Idk why Kevin gets hated on but at least be fair.” Meanwhile, one person said, “Katt's comedy hits on a way higher bar than Kevin's, but Kevin's no slouch at roasting people. Katt's been in the news a lot in the last decade, lot of ammunition for Kev. I think Katt wins but it'd be closer than most think.” The next one added, “Dang that would absolutely smack, i think KW is probly forsure funnier off the cuff.” One trolled Hart and said, “Kevin so Hollywood now he gonna need a script”, as another concluded, “Kat Williams will have that man crying.”
