'Vanderpump Rules': Brett says he felt violated, fans ask if it was before or after he ripped Scheana's bra off
For the longest time, Scheana Shay was portrayed as a 'thirsty' girl on 'Vanderpump Rules'. The longtime SUR employee has a notorious reputation of trying to get her paws on every new employee. But it seems like we might have been wrong all along when it comes to viewing Scheana as a desperate person who is ready to do anything for some attention. Scheana took her fellow cast member Brett Caprioni to Palm Springs to shoot the music video for her song 'One More Time'. The 'Good as Gold' singer described the song as a 'baby making song', so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the video was going to be very hot and steamy.
She asked Brett if he'd be interested in starring in her video as her partner to which he readily accepted. The video was extremely explicit and suggestive. It featured them making out, him ripping her bra off and then her nibbling his ears, amongst many other such suggestive acts. While Scheana maintained that she was just being a professional and doing her job of acting for the video, Brett didn't share the same emotion. When his girlfriend Dayna Kathan asks him about the video, he tells her that he was very 'uncomfortable', and felt a bit 'violated' by Scheana. Later, he even adds that Scheana offered to give him a blowjob but he turned it down because he wasn't comfortable with the situation.
When Scheana heard about Brett complaining to others that he felt 'violated' while filming her video, she decided to have a chat with him. In front of his girlfriend Dayna, Scheana made it very clear that they were just acting and that even she was uncomfortable but just did her job. When Brett continued expressing his discomfort, she just apologized to him and told him that he doesn't have to come back to film few more shots. Brett gets offended with Scheana and continued harping about how he felt violated by her.
Fans, however, had a tough time believing that Brett was 'uncomfortable' or 'felt violated' by Scheana. A fan tweeted, "Yeah Brett, I’m so sure you felt violated. Scheana may be thirsty but you’re supplying the drink! #PumpRules." Another fan wrote, "Scheana is an amazing singer and Brett felt violated during Scheana’s music video...tell me the lie. Another fan wondered, "Okay so Brett is saying he felt violated by @scheana‘s music video shoot? So why did you agree in the first place? Boy Bye #PumpRules."
Fans also began speculating that Brett might be doing all this to reinforce the narrative of Scheana being 'thirsty' and get some additional screen time. A fan commented, "Brett knows he loved being in that video. He just doesn’t want the world to know. But yeah, let’s keep this Scheana is desperate narrative going #PumpRules." Another fan pointed out, "Not a @scheanafan ..but Brett was being a f***in douche! He knew what he was getting into! Wtf!? Uncomfortable? Really? 99% sure he was probably hard during the shoot!
