Concept

The virtual concert is presented by the mobile platform UNIVERSE, a new app that allows fans to reach out to their favorite artists and to participate in fandom activities with rewards, according to the official website. It is similar to Lysn or Weverse. Not only will UNIVERSE host fan communities, but fans can look forward to streaming exclusive shows, live content, and more. Additionally, there is also a curious new way to listen to artists through the feature of an AI-generated voice, which is created through a collaboration between NCSOFT's speech synthesis technology and the artists themselves.

'UNI-KON' will mark the platform's first event before its full launch. If you're familiar with some of the groups in the line-up, you can expect to hear a lot of K-pop music and styles ranging from EDM to hip-hop to synthpop and more. As far as the visual aesthetics of the show, details are unclear.

How to stream

You can download the UNIVERSE app on Google Play and watch for free. Pre-registration is open, and further details on how to participate will be announced later.
