Tyga gifts Avril Lavigne a staggering $80K custom-made diamond necklace after being lovey-dovey in Paris
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tyga knows how to make his woman happy. The rapper reportedly gave Avril Lavigne a thick diamond necklace, on Thursday, March 16.
According to TMZ, the ‘Rack City’ rapper, 33, spent a whopping $80,000 on the custom-made diamond necklace for the 'Complicated' singer, 38. Celebrity jeweler Eric Mavani, who made the piece, reportedly said it has 50 carats of pink sapphires, white diamonds and black diamonds. The necklace also has two skulls with crossbones, two letters ‘A’s on pink hearts and Lavigne's first name.

Lavigne seems to have fallen in love with the piece as she was spotted wearing it in Los Angeles and posted a selfie as well. Her publicist told Page Six that she broke off her engagement to 36-year-old Mod Sun three weeks ago. Reports said the timing seemed too convenient as it was at that time, approximately, that Tyga approached Mavani to create the unique piece.
Are Tyga and Avril Lavigne dating?
Tyga and Lavigne were reportedly very close during Paris Fashion Week. They were first spotted attending the Ottolinger show on March 6 and later they were seen at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party, where they kissed and held hands in public, per Page Six. They then attended the Y/Project show in matching jackets. The two have decided to do away with any labels, given that it was too early still.
Lavigne and Sun reportedly split up for good after breaking up and making up a few times in the months prior. Reports said cheating was not a reason. The two got engaged in 2022 after dating for more than a year.
