KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: The football match between Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, November 7, at Arrowhead Stadium, didn’t prove to be a good one for Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs. On the Chiefs opening drive of the second half, Patrick Mahomes’ pass got missed by Kelce’s hands while Roger McCreary #21 of the Tennessee Titans intercepted it which led to Kelce showing his frustration after the play. He took out his helmet off and threw it to the sideline.

Following his aggresive action, one of the netizens wrote, "Can I ask..Kelce taking off his helmet and throwing it. Is that not an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty??" While one said, "What Travis Kelce did by taking his helmet off on the field is an indisputable 15-yard penalty." On the other hand, many pointed out how "Kelce got away with taking his helmet off on the field and throwing it in anger."

However, it was not the only act by Kelce that raised concerns. When Titans' safety Joshua Kalu lined up against Chiefs' tight end Kelce near the goal line, Kalu appeared to get pushed in the facemask and lost his helmet on the play. As stated by Fox News, a penalty flag was thrown in the end zone and the defender was called for holding. But many people were left wondering why Kelce was not given a penalty. One wrote, "What about Kelce ripping Kalu's helmet off? The announcers act like, oh it's okay. No biggie. That's unbelievable to me. #Titans" Another football fan wrote, "I just saw the replay of the holding call on Josh Kalu. Travis Kelce ran right into him and ripped his helmet off. Not sure exactly what you want Kalu to do in that situation."

After the penalty, Kalu too expressed his take on the whole situation in the video. When asked “What are you supposed to do in that situation when he ran into you?” he responded by saying, “I guess I’ll place my hand better. I will go and watch the film again and know what I can do better for the next time.”
