It's still lockdown and it's going to be that way for a while. But never mind, there's enough to watchable material on television to keep boredom at bay. We've curated a list of the top 10 things that you can watch till next week (August 14-21), and boy, there's a lot. 'Boy's State' on Friday, August 14

Start with Apple TV+ documentary, if you wish. This is a Sundance-winning documentary from Amanda McBaine and Jesse Moss, the team behind 2014’s 'The Overnighters', chronicles the adventures of four boys who gather every year in Austin for Texas Boys State, where they are tasked with building a two-party government from the ground up. Of course, much havoc is expected to follow. 

'Project Power' on Friday, August 14

Catch Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt struggle with some newfound superpowers in this sci-fi film. The official synopsis reads, "An ex-soldier, a teen and a cop collide in New Orleans as they hunt for the source behind a dangerous new pill that grants users temporary superpowers.

'Ted Lasso' on Friday, August 14

The official synopsis of the series states: "Jason Sudeikis plays Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer." The show will air on Apple TV+.

'Wicked Sharks' on Saturday, August 15

Perhaps you would rather learn about some mysterious sharks. The synopsis reads, "Wildlife biologist and conservationist Forrest Galante braves dangerous waters in the southern hemisphere in a search for three sharks unseen by scientists for as long as 100 years." It airs on Discovery Channel, 9 pm ET.

'Lovercraft Country' on Sunday, August 16

Follow the story of a young African American who travels across the 1950s segregated United States to look for his missing father, and learns about the dark aspects plaguing the town originating from a book by famous writer HP Lovecraft. The series premieres on HBO, at 9 pm ET.

'Yellowstone' Season 3 Episode 9 on Sunday, August 16

'Yellowstone' fans, this one's for you. The synopsis for the episode titled 'Meaner Than Evil' reads, "Jamie confronts his past; Rip approaches Kayce about an old problem; the bunkhouse crew looks to defend two of its own." It airs on Paramount Network, at 9 pm ET. 

'Dead Pixels' on Tuesday, August 18

This is the American debut of the popular UK series and airs on The CW, 8 pm. The synopsis  says it "Centres on three mates whose world revolves around their obsession for the fictional MMORPG Kingdom Scrolls, splitting between their real and virtual lives, and how they crossover."

'The Crimes That Bind', on August 19, Wednesday

Nothing like a good thriller to cheer up a gloomy weekday, isn't it? The official synopsis reads, "When her son is accused of raping and trying to murder his ex-wife, Alicia embarks on a journey that will change her life forever." The film will drop on Netflix. 

'The Great Pretender' on Thursday, August 20

Who's up for an intense anime drama? Don't miss Netflix's 'The Great Pretender', which revolves around a Japanese con-artist who finds himself thrust into the big leagues when he tries to defraud an international scammer who takes him under his wing. Here's the official synopsis from Netflix: "Supposedly Japan's greatest swindler, Makoto Edamura gets more than he bargained for when he tries to con Laurent Thierry, a real world-class crook."

'John Was Trying to Contact Aliens' on Thursday, August 20

Or catch another documentary on Netflix. Over the course of 30 years, John Shepherd transformed his grandparents' home in rural Michigan into an incredible laboratory from which he broadcast experimental music millions of miles into space. 'John Was Trying to Contact Aliens' charts the rise and fall of this one-man SETI project, before opening up into a broader story about the human need for connection.
