Tom Hardy posts then deletes photo of Venom killing Spider-Man, leaves fans worried about wall crawler's fate
Just a while ago, 'Venom 2' got a new title 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage', as well as a release date. The anxiety of fans shot through the roof when Tom Hardy shared a photo of Spider-Man's apparent death. In the now-deleted post, a terrifying version of Venom eating Spider-Man sparked much worry and speculation.
However, this most likely is a trolling antic as it's unlikely that Hardy would share such a crucial plot twist. Also, let's not forget that Hardy is known to troll the fans. Well, mission accomplished.
Fans are excited to see Hardy return as Eddie Brock in the Andy Serkeis film. And that's not all. Woody Harrelson's Carnage would be in the film as well. While the first poster of the film has been released, it also comes with sad news, the film has been pushed from its original date. 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' will now release on June 25, 2021.
Also, fans are eagerly waiting for Tom Holland to appear in the extended Spider-Verse. The excitement reached a feverish pitch when Michael Keaton's Vulture from 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' was in the trailer for 'Morbius'. While Holland has been tight-lipped about appearing in 'Venom 2', Hardy has said that he would love to fight Holland's Spider-Man. So all in all, this latest post was just to raise the hackles of fans.
One fan tweeted, "Honestly, I'd prefer these spin offs stayed out of the MCU, so sure, have Venom be in the Rami verse, or the Amazing Spiderman universe, where maybe Carnage kills Spidey and Venom picks up where Spidey left off."
"It was actually really interesting for a dark take on the spiderman story and it makes me wonder if maybe a new spiderman would emerge and maybe the venom shit would take over the old spiderman's corpse and that's the villain," pondered another fan.
"I'm most intrigued by Moribus, worried about Spiderman, considering where he was left, story wise and pumped for Venom," a fan wrote.
"Venom eats MCU Spiderman. Andrew Garfield's Spiderman comes in. There that's how you save Spiderman," a fan tweeted.
Another fan wrote, "I want a movie where Venom and Spiderman fight because Spiderman thinks Venom is a thoughtless monster and Venom thinks Spiderman is a corporate Superhero doing more harm than good. And it ends in a stalemate because Venom can't eat Spidey and Spidey won't kill Venom."

Another fan just said that it has been photoshopped. "People taking this shit seriously when it’s probably just a funny photo. Pretty sure that is a screenshot from the original venom with spiderman photoshopped in."
