LONDON, ENGLAND: English comedian David Walliams of ‘Little Britain' recently took to his social media to wish Sir Michael Caine his 90th birthday. What could have been a normal birthday post with a contemporary entertainer wishing a veteran actor, grabbed the interest of the netizens as it features ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star Tom Cruise in it.
Cruise, 60, who recently stirred controversy when he missed the Oscars on Sunday, March 12, could be seen attending the birthday party of ‘Batman Begins’ actor Sir Caine on March 14. The 'Mission: Impossible' veteran seemed to be having the time of his life as he smiled and posed with the duo. Walliams captioned his post, "Happy 90th Birthday to the legendary Sir Michael Caine."

The source informed the media house that, “'Tom was not there because she was there, and he did not want a run-in." Kidman and Cruise got married in 1990 and divorced in 2001 when the ‘Bombshell’ actress reportedly denied joining Scientology with Cruise. The estranged couple shares two children together whom they adopted. The two stars allegedly have had no interaction since then.
Jimmy Kimmel is deemed to be the third reason why the ‘Knight and Day’ actor gave the award show where his film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was nominated in six categories a miss. It is reported that originally Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue at the Oscar stage had a three-minute section dedicated to Cruise. The portion was deleted when news surfaced, the Scientologist was not attending the event. In order to avoid probable embarrassment, the honorary Palme d’Or didn't turn up for the glitzy event, reported Marca.
