LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Timothée Chalamet has purchased Kate Upton's Beverly Hills residence deep in the Santa Monica Mountains for a whopping $11 million, $700,000 less than the initial price which makes it a great deal, according to Sheknows.

The Los Angeles home that was formerly owned by Upton and her baseball player spouse Justin Verlander and handed down by other celebrities was just purchased for $11 million by the 'Willy Wonka' actor. The home was listed by Kate and Justin earlier this year for $11.7 million. Though they just purchased the house six years ago, Upton and Verlander made over $5.7 million profit on the sale.

In the midst of a media frenzy, Upton and Verlander listed the property for sale earlier this year. Although the final hammer price is lower than the initial sticker price of $11.7 million, it is still higher than the $5.3 million they paid just six years earlier. During their ownership, the couple made only minor renovations to the house, completely redoing the kitchen while leaving the most of the other rooms largely untouched aside from some fresh paint and new ceiling treatments.

The East Coast traditional-style property, which was built in the 1970s and is situated deep in the mountains above Beverly Hills, has a long history of famous residents. The mansion was most recently owned by renowned Hollywood producer Jon Peters. The first owner of this mansion was Grammy-winning musician Kenny G in the 90s, and who later sold it to tennis player Pete Sampras.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and is situated on 1.5 acres. There is a large fireplace in the living room, a breakfast nook in the eat-in kitchen, a lounge, and a walk-in wine storage room with climate control. Stepping outdoors reveals a brick terrace, elevated spa, and plunge pool. Not to mention the tennis court in its entirety!

The house is just next door to John Mayer and Vin Diesel, so Chalamet will have plenty of company in his new neighbourhood. The other celebrities in the vicinity are Eva Longoria and Cameron Diaz.

The 2017 coming-of-age drama 'Call Me By Your Name' pushed Chalamet to international stardom and won him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. He is now widely acknowledged as one of the most accomplished and gifted young performers of his time. Since then, Chalamet's stardom has only grown; recent movies include 'Dune' and 'The French Dispatch'. Chalamet will play Willy Wonka in a new origin movie, and 'Dune: Part 2' is expected to come out next year.

Timothée Chalamet is an American actor who has a net worth of $25 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He earns most of his money from acting and ad gigs. According to reports, Chalamet intends to keep splitting his time between  in Los Angeles and his leased residence in Manhattan, New York for the time being. In terms of Upton and Verlander, they have relocated to Florida, where they spent $6 million on a waterfront house in Palm Beach County last year.
