On Wednesday, May 18, three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Kate Upton uploaded a seductive photo of herself in a white bikini with a tropical background. The sultry photo drew a lot of attention on social media.
Upton’s Insta post rapidly racked up over 100,000 likes, and one of them was from her husband Justin Verlander. Verlander absolutely adored the pic and was quick to leave his name in the comments area, using the standard heart-eyed emoji and fire emoji combo.

According to US Magazine, Kate Upton got engaged to Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander in 2017 and they got married soon after. The couple also has a three-year-old daughter together. Born on February 20, 1983, Justin Verlander is one of the highest-paid Major League athletes of all time. The 35-year-old is a seven-time MLB All-Star who won his first career World Series ring in 2017.
He was voted MVP and co-winner of the Babe Ruth Award for most outstanding performance for his efforts in the 2017 American League Championship Series. Justin built his reputation, though, throughout his 13-year career with the Detroit Tigers, with whom he made his major league debut in 2005 until being acquired by Houston. So how did the pair get engaged?
Justin began dating supermodel Kate Upton in early 2014 while playing for the Detroit Lions. He proposed to her in 2016 with a custom-designed ring before the start of the baseball season. They married in an outdoor wedding in a medieval chapel in Italy on November 4, 2017, only days after Game 7 of the World Series, and he missed the Astros championship parade.
According to NY Post, Justin's wife Kate revealed the couple's first child together on Instagram on July 14, 2018, with a photo of her on a Miami balcony with the first peek of a baby bulge. On November 10, the couple announced the birth of their baby girl, Genevieve Upton Verlander, in separate Instagram photos.
This isn't the first time they've gone public with their social media comments. Upton shared another bikini shot of herself standing on a yacht in January, with Verlander joking that she's "not the only swimsuit model in the family."
