'Time to Come Home for Christmas' is all about a young woman returning home after her husband passes away, and that is when she meets a veteran who is on a vacation. It is time for miracles, and that is exactly what Katherine experiences as she gets close to this veteran, and the two explore a bond that lifts their spirits. Alison Sweeney
Alison Sweeney wears many hats as she is an award-winning actor, producer, director, TV host and author. She is also to be seen as an actor and will also executive produce 'Chronicle Mysteries'. The story is born out of Sweeney's love for true crime podcasts and serial storytelling. Sweeney's previous movies for Crown Media Family Networks include 'Christmas at Holly Lodge', 'The Irresistible Blueberry Farm', 'Love on the Air' and the 'Murder She Baked' franchise.
Sweeney's most popular role happened with her joining 'Days of Our Lives' at the age of 16. Her role as Sami Brady is what earned her an Emmy nomination for Best Lead Actress, and in addition to this, she also hosted 13 seasons of NBC’s inspirational series 'The Biggest Loser'. Apart from acting, Sweeney has also dabbled in penning novels which are based on her insight into Hollywood mixed with romance and fun. Her 2016 book 'Opportunity Knocks' was written from the perspective of a fledgling makeup artist. Her other novels include 'Scared Scriptless', 'The Star Attraction'
Lucas Bryant
Lucas Bryant the star of Syfy’s popular mystery series 'Haven' played the role of Nathan Wuornos, the wry, hardened local cop. This character, based on the novella 'The Colorado Kid', by author Stephen King, is a somewhat reluctant partner of new-to-town FBI agent Audrey Parker, played by Emily Rose.
He has also other notable roles as a part of his filmography including his role in 'Queer as Folk' for Showtime; 'M.V.P.' for SOAPnet and CBC; 'Sex, Love and Secrets' for UPN; and CTV’s 'The Eleventh Hour'.
The other Hallmark channel originals that he has been a part of includes 'Tulips in Spring' and 'Summer Love'. In addition to this, there is also Lifetime’s 'More Sex & The Single Mom' and 'A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride'. Bryant also has a recurring role on the comedy procedural 'Private Eyes' starring Jason Priestly. Bryant has also been a part of a number of theatre productions across Canada and this includes 'The Crucible', 'The King & I' and Alumnae Theatre’s 'Your Tricks Might Be Poison'. Bryant also started Skarsgard Players, a theater company named in honor of veteran Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard, and launched an all-male production of' Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret' based on the Judy Blume novel.
