LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Keeping Up With the Kardashian' star Kylie Jenner has been once again mocked for promoting gaming apps via Instagram stories. Kylie Jenner is a well-known American socialite, reality television star, businesswoman and model.

It is well known that content creators and influencers, all over social media promote harmful betting and gaming apps. Some feel it's a technique to earn easy money while others are against such promotions.

A Reddit post that read "Real billionaires don’t do mobile game ads!" sparked a discussion in the comments section, with many expressing embarrassment over Kylie's endorsement of such apps.

With nearly 399M+ Instagram followers, Kylie is one of the most followed personalities on Instagram and surely does not need to promote silly game apps.

One user wrote, "Stooppppp this is the type of sponsorship small creators take." Another commented, "Legit, this is small-time influencer level, not celebrity level. Embarrassing for her."

One even wrote, "No literally. My cousin is a YouTube creator, and she received a sponsorship inquiry from Travel Town" mocking Kylie's promotion choices.

Critics have gone so far as to label Kylie as desperate for money, with comments such as "Omg, this is embarrassing lol, so desperate for that coin."

A user pointed out that it might be due to her insane spending issue, writing, "Lmao she needs money she spent too much."

Kylie Jenner's embarrassing ad for her baby line

Kylie Jenner received criticism for endorsing her baby product line, urging fans and followers to purchase items for their children.

On September 1, 2022, she shared a photo featuring a charming baby brush placed on a towel, prominently displaying the 'Kylie Baby' brand on the handle.

However, fans observed that the brush exhibited subpar quality, with some even noting the presence of a missing bristle. Marketed for detangling both dry and wet hair in children, the product claimed to be suitable for all hair types.

How much does Kylie Jenner make?

At 26, she gained widespread attention when Forbes dubbed her the 'youngest' self-made billionaire.

However, Forbes later discovered that her family had inaccurately reported her company's earnings and profits. As per Parade, her current net worth stands at $700 million, a considerable distance from the billion-dollar mark, at the very least.

The mother of two has diverse revenue streams, generating income from various ventures. She profits from her cosmetic line 'Kylie Skin,' her swimwear line 'Kylie Swim,' and even her baby skincare line 'Kylie Baby.'

In addition to her earnings from her television and business empire, she has a keen interest in real estate and has invested approximately $40 million in just two years.

She also rakes in earnings from her social media platforms, where she engages in promotions and ad campaigns.

Is Kylie Jenner still a 'billionaire'?

Kylie Jenner has forfeited her billionaire status, with her current net worth hovering around $700 million. She holds the 38th position among America's Richest Self-Made Women.

Additionally, she ranks as the second wealthiest among the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, trailing behind Kim Kardashian, whose net worth is estimated at $1.2 billion.

Kylie Jenner was initially touted as the "youngest self-made billionaire" by Forbes in March 2019. However, it later emerged that this declaration was an error on their part.

The confusion arose from the sale of Kylie's cosmetic line to Coty, with Coty disclosing that Kylie's business was considerably smaller and less profitable than the family had portrayed.

Indeed, Kylie Jenner was never actually a billionaire, and the initial claim by Forbes in 2019 was later revealed to be inaccurate.

Kim Kardashian was accused of promoting celebrity-themed gaming apps

Kylie is not the sole influencer who has endorsed gaming apps. The trend began over a decade ago when Kim Kardashian herself promoted celebrity-themed gaming apps.

One notable example is the Kim Kardashian simulator game, 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,' which became one of the highest-grossing apps after its launch in June 2016.

The Kim Kardashian simulator game, 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,' achieved significant success, ranking in almost $51 million in revenue.

Following her lead, many other celebrities ventured into the gaming industry, with comedian Ellen DeGeneres launching the popular trivia game 'Heads Up!'.

It's quite embarrassing that such well-paid celebrities and business moguls fall into the trap of promoting such games.
