Foreign productions have been topping Netflix's charts recently and we're expecting Polish drama series 'The Woods' to be a hit as well. If you're into thrillers with crime in their storyline, this one's for you. From the creepiness of the woods to the hunt for a loved one, this series seems to have pulled out all the stops. A prosecutor, named Paweł Kopiński finds out that human remains were found at the location in the Woods where his sister had gone missing years ago. As Pawel tries to figure out what happened back then and keeps diligent hopes of finding his sister, secrets of the past and present are uncovered.

Plot
The official synopsis reads, "New Netflix Original series based on Harlan Coben’s novel. Summer’94 – holiday camp based in the woods. Four people went into the woods and never came back. The police find the bodies of two of them. Despite passing years Paweł Kopiński (Grzegorz Damięcki), who is Warsaw prosecutor now, never recovered from the loss of his beloved sister. Unexpectedly, he gets a new lead in the investigation, which seems to be related to the disappearance of the girl in 1994. What really happened 25 years ago during the holiday camp?"

Grzegorz Damiecki is a Polish actor and is known for his roles as SS Sgt. Kunder in 'Schindler's List' (1993), as Marian in 'Podatek od milosci' (2018) and Andrzej Halman in tv series 'The Border' (2014-2019).
Agnieszka Grochowska as Laura Goldsztajn
Grochowska is a Polish actress known for her roles as Basia in 'Obce niebo' (2015), Nina Andreyeva in 'Child 44' (2015) and Nina in 'Beyond the Steppes' (2010).
Other cast members include Wiktoria Filus as young Laura, Hubert Miłkowski as young Pawel, Przemyslaw Bluszcz, Martyna Byczkowska, Magdalena Czerwinska, Izabela Dabrowska and Adam Ferency.
