LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hallmark Channel has started with its Spring into Love programming by dropping movies like 'The Professional Bridesmaid' and 'A Picture of Her.' One of the additions to that is 'The Wedding Cottage,' which dropped on April 15. The film is directed by Terry Ingram, and written by Judith Berg and Sandra Berg.

Produced by Beth Grossbard, the movie stars Erin Krakow and Brendan Penny play the lead roles of Vanessa Doyle and Evan Stanford. The plot of the film revolves around a wedding guide creator who must convince an uninspired artist — who is the owner of a special wedding cottage — to renovate the dilapidated cottage so it can host a couple who have won a contest, for their dream wedding. A soothing love-story

Vanessa and Evan make it to the end by finding love in each other. Their story from the beginning seems real and eventually makes it relatable. The way they try to help each other and bump into one another serval times makes it soothing to watch. The fact that the story has a slow pace and doesn't seem rushed makes it a perfect romantic movie.
