'The Professional Bridesmaid' brings back the old-school romantic movie formula that has been created by Hallmark all these years. The movie is a new addition to their 'Spring Into Love' collection and stars Hunter King and Chandler Massey. The story of the movie is endearing and brings out two of the most important elements of a Hallmark production; romance and small businesses. Hallmark loves love, and audiences love a good romantic movie. 'The Professional Bridesmaid' has everything and more.

A sommelier from New York City named Maisie
The storyline of 'The Professional Bridesmaid' stars Hunter King as Maggie Bailey, a professional bridesmaid, which is exactly what it sounds like. Maggie gets hired as a problem solver for the bride's big day and cleans up the ruckus that other bridesmaids create. The scene opens as she is riding on a scooter with a bridesmaid's costume on, saving yet another wedding. After the wedding is a success, Maggie thinks of taking a short vacation to clear her head and to think about her future business, which she is desperately trying to get a loan for. When talking about the vacation with her best friend, Nora (Donna Benedicto), she says that she has the perfect gig for Maggie, which will help her bring in the loan. The gig is the wedding of Alexis Shepard (Francesca Bianchi), the mayor’s daughter. The cherry on the cake is that Maggie can chat up some investors and hopefully get her professional bridesmaid gig funded with a jovial recommendation from Mayor Shepard (Roark Critchlow). What could go wrong? everything?
To get comfortable with the other bridesmaid of the mayor's daughter, Maggie lies about her occupation and her entire existence and tells them that she is a sommelier from New York City named Maisie. Things go smoothly until Chandler Massey's Henry comes into the frame with his great investigative skills to write a story about the wedding. But, the twist is that he has never covered a wedding story and is an investigative journalist who wants to work on a more dashing story and not a wedding. But Henry and Maggie work together, and Maggie tells him fun facts and stories about wedding rituals and her idea of a wedding. Throughout this, Henry starts falling in love with Maggie.

All in all, the movie is quite a wonder to watch, as it has everything from romance to friendship and love to honesty, but with a twist. When watching, the perpetual bridesmaid gigs and journalism angle make this feel like a remixed version of the movie '27 Dresses' featuring Katherine Heigl. 'The Professional Bridesmaid' will be a fun movie to add to your weekend plans. The movie has charm, a great storyline, and characters that don't shy away from playing their parts in the best way possible.
