Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' Episode 10: 'In This Life'

'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' may have had a patchy ending, but what it does is set up a gripping Season 2. The series ended on a bittersweet note for teens. For starters, Huck (Annet Mahendru) and "the asset", Hope (Alexa Mansour) is picked up by the CRM, while Iris (Aliyah Royale) and Felix (Nico Tortorella) talk about the plan they have next. It is revealed that Hope, in her departing moment tells Iris that both of them were assets and CRM had a secret weapon in Iris they didn't know about.

This serves as the plan for Iris as she plans to dent the organization from the outside, while Hope, earmarked as one of the future, ruins the organization from within. For Felix, it is about his reunion with his boyfriend, Bill (Jelani Alladin) with the campus survivors. Elton (Nicolas Cantu) and Percy (Ted Sutherland) escape after Silas (Hal Cumpston) saves them by surrendering to the CRM. However, the ending might not be so happy for Leopold Bennett (Joe Holt), the sisters' father.

Even though it is seen that he is doing well for himself, Leo is completely unaware of the fact that Hope was being choppered into New York to help him figure a way out to save mankind. While his colleague and romantic interest, Dr. Lyla Bellshaw (Natalie Gold) knows this and plans to tell him, Leo confesses saying he was worried that CRM had ulterior motives and that has been eating away at him.

This leads us to speculate if Bellshaw might put Leo in trouble. Considering the fact she knows about Hope, it is clear that she is working with the CRM and is more than what Leo thinks of her. This might land the scientist in trouble should he attempt an escape. With his doubts about the CRM out there, Bellshaw just might report back to the organization that would just make Leo's life a lot harder. This, of course, is pure speculation as we currently have no idea if Bellshaw was actually a pawn for the CRM as well.

In which case, it would be the two hatching an escape plan. Only Season 2 can tell us how this plot will play out.

'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' will return with Season 2.
