UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Kara Tenae from Team Gwen took the 'The Voice' Season 24 stage one last time on December 5, leaving many fans disappointed. Fans took to social media to express their disappointment as they believed the front-runner missed out on a big opportunity because of one bad night.

Kara sang 'Love Takes Time', and as always, she nailed the song while pouring her all into it.

Gwen was bowled over by her performance and exclaimed, "That was ridiculous." She threatened to leave the stage if America did not vote for Kara.

Fans express disappointment

On X, disappointed fans noted, "Eeek Kara not having a good night tonight either. When she hits the high notes she goes totally off-key. Yes, Gwen, it was ridiculous." While others argued, "Kara is the only one who understood the assignment and could find a melody."

One fan wrote, "Um what? ANY of the other three were better than Jordan. She is forgettable. Based on tonight’s performances, should have been Kara."

A fourth person added, "Kara and Azan were ROBBED."

One fan commented, "She didn't get the save, now I remember why I stopped watching this show, back to not watching for good now."

One user noted, "NBC cut to a commercial in the middle of her performance. Only a small part of her solo aired. That is totally unfair to her."

'A commercial aired DURING her performance!! So not fair!!" added another.

Gwen Stefani 'messed up' after Kara Tenae's 'best of the season' battle

Brandon Montel and Kara entered the stage for the last battle of 'The Voice' Season 24 before the program moved on to the Knockout phase. Team Coach Gwen put them together because they perform in similar genres, a blend of R&B and Soul, and assigned them to sing 'Have You Ever' by Brandy.

Brandon and Kara received a standing ovation from the coaches, as well as a spontaneous comment from Gwen, who said, "I'm so messed up right now."

Gwen rushed into her own critique for both Brandon and Kara, which was clearly a stalling technique.

“You’re both so talented. Brandon, I think your strengths are just your actual voice. It’s so pretty, yet so skilled… Kara, there was not one out-of-tune note. You were really tasteful with your runs, you were captivating. I need prayers.”

Who is Kara Tenae on 'The Voice' Season 24?

Kara began singing when she was a young child and has been a professional musician since her early 20s. After high school, she formed a brief girl band that had a record deal.

For a brief period, Kara drove for Uber and would frequently serenade her customers. She was even given the chance to take part in an Uber advertisement.

When she arrived at the location, she was thrown into a car and instructed to sing a song that she had written. Before she knew it, Julia Michaels was sitting beside her. Kara's original song was included in a national advertisement that was broadcast to the public as part of the campaign.

These days, Kara takes care of the elderly and those with developmental impairments during the night shift. Kara spends her days creating songs and working on her music. She also uploads covers to her YouTube account and enjoys performing live at neighborhood pubs and restaurants.

Kara even released her debut EP this past summer, which resulted in favorable press and the chance to play in UK venues.

'The Voice' Season 24 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on NBC.
