'The Voice' Season 17 Finale: Rose Short and Yolanda Adam's duet of 'In the Midst of it All' has fans claiming they were taken to church

Rose Short and Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Yolanda Adams 'took fans and viewers to church' with their heartfelt duet 'In the Midst of it All'. 

The wait is finally over as 'The Voice' Season 17 is about to crown its title winner. Either Jake Hoot, Katie Kadan, Rose Short or Ricky Duran will be the one lucky contestant to walk away with $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group. 

It is anyone's win, as this is the first time in seven seasons each coach has a contestant representing them in the finale. The three-hour finale event kicked off on Tuesday night with the first hour being dedicated to a replay of Monday night's finale performances by the finalists. 

During the second hour, the series kicked off with the live finale event with guest performances by past contestants from this season who took to the stage without pressure and performed for one last time. The series also has guest performances by famed artists like Lady Antebellum, Dua Lipa who performed her new hit single, Black Eyed Peas, Luke Combs and former coach Jennifer Hudson.

Apart from these guest performances, the four finalists will also take to the stage for one last time and perform a duet with a famed artist. The first performance was by Katie Kadan and Adam Lambert. They performed an emotional and incredible rendition to Cher's classic 'Believe'. 

The second performance was by Rose Short from Team Gwen and famed gospel artist Yolanda Adams. They performed a soulful rendition to 'In the Midst of it All'. Their performance was incredible, you could listen to them sing the entire night. Taking to twitter post their performance, fans claim that the duo took them to church with that performance. 

"Yolanda Adams and Rose took me to church with tears in my eyes!!! Another great performance this is going to be tough between Rose and Katie. They both are equally great! #TheVoice,' a fan shared. Adding to that another said, "Rose and Yolanda just took me to church! HALLELUJAH! #TheVoiceFinale #thevoice #thevoice2019 #nbcthevoce." 

"Rose and Yolanda just took me to Church!!#TheVoice," a fan wrote. While another shared, "Rose Short and Yolanda Adams ate that song up Lordt  #VoiceFinale #TheVoice."
