With the top 11 contestants fighting it out in Season 17 of 'The Voice', fans are reeling with excitement. MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) caught up with Team Gwen and with support pouring in for the contestants, it's sure to tug at more than a few heartstrings.

Talking about her relationship with Joana Martinez, Rose Short said she was proud of Joana who just covered 'Dreaming Of You' by Selena, "This is my baby right here, I love her, she is so amazing and so talented! I am proud of her and I met her along this journey. Just to see her... I can't even say you've progressed, it's like it was already there. It's just the matter of her being given the song and the opportunity to pull it out of. Ain't no way you going to get up on that stage and dance and sing like that out of nowhere, it's already there. It's just a matter of giving you a song to make you do it. I'm so proud of her!"

When asked if she knew how big the song was from the popular singer, Joana said, "Actually, I had never heard the song — a week ago I didn't know the song. I knew who Selena was, but not the song! But it's a beautiful song and I did hear that she is a very beloved artist, so I hope that I did it justice. Contestant Joana who didn't know much about Selena Quintanilla-Pérez known as the Queen of Tejano music, received widespread praise for her performance of Selena's 'Dreaming Of You.' Rose echoed the sentiments of fans, "She killed it, you killed it!"

When asked what they had been up to, Rose said, "Just been busy with rehearsing, getting wardrobe together and just making sure everything is together."

Myracle Holloway, who was eliminated on Tuesday night, also joined in on this bubbly interview, talking about how much fun this journey was. "One of the best parts of preparing for our performances is trying out different cool clothes because Gwen Stefani, our coach, is a fashion icon. So we get to try on a lot of different great outfits!"

She also mentioned how she trusted the connection she had with her fans, so she was confident with the songs they would choose for her. She said, "I've allowed myself to be open, honest and authentic with who I am, so I knew they were going to come with a great song."

This past week being 'Fans' Week', we asked Team Gwen if there were songs or artists that they hoped wouldn't come their way. Rose said, "I don't want to disrespect the artist but I think I get a lot of Lizzo references, but this is the thing.. if you're going to do a Lizzo song, you can't come up in there with no full-body suit on. You got to come with the Lizzo, I'm talking about the cut-offs and all. You can't be up there singing Lizzo fully covered, and that was the only thing I was nervous about because I wanted to do her justice."

Joana chimed in stating that she is terrible at picking songs because she "doesn't know if this is going to be good or not." She continued, "I was really interested in what the fans thought would work for me, I was really open to anything." This obviously seemed to be true, as fans chose 'Dreaming Of You' by Selena, and Joana hit it out of the park.

Don't forget to catch 'The Voice' on NBC, on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm.
