'The Voice' Season 17 Top 8: Marybeth Byrd moves onto the semi-finals with the Instant Save vote and fans couldn't be happier

Marybeth was always a frontrunner for Team Legend and it was shocking to see her in the bottom three. 

'The Voice' season 17 returned on Tuesday night for its live elimination, and from the Top 10 contestants, only eight moved forward to next week's semi-finals. Just two weeks away from revealing its season winner, Tuesday night's episode of  'The Voice' featured a performance by Meghan Trainor and Mike Sabath. We also got to see a performance by John Legend and Kelly Clarkson which was full of Christmas spirit. 

The eight contestants who moved to the semi-finals are Hello Sunday, Kat Hammock, Will Breman, Jake Hoot, Katie Kadan, Ricky Duran, Rose Short and Marybeth Byrd who joined them after winning the Instant Save vote. 

After Marybeth's performance of Selena Gomez's 'Lose You To Love Me' on Monday night, it was surprising to see her in the bottom three this week. But luckily America saved her with their Instant Save vote, and help her move to the semi-finals. Marybeth was always a front runner for Team Legend and it was shocking to see her in the bottom three. 

But now, fans are glad that she moved to the Top 8, and that they will get to see her perform again next week. Taking to Twitter post the results, fans couldn't contain their excitement as they shared their love for the singer. "I’m so, so happy for you @marybeth_music! You’re so talented, & so special! Your voice is amazing! You should’ve never even been in the bottom 3 to begin with, but I’m glad it turned out the way it did! CONGRATULATIONS! Now, BRING IT next week! #TheVoice@NBCTheVoice
You rock!" wrote a fan. 

"Marybeth deserved to be saved.. stay pressed #TheVoice," shared a fan. While another said, "Yaaaassss our girl made it!!! yall don't even know how big of a deal this is! We don't even have a traffic light in our itty bitty town! Please vote for marybeth Byrd if you watch the voice! We are so proud of her! #thevoice."
