‘The Voice’ 4-way knockout: Ryan Gallagher gets standing ovation, Internet says performance 'gave goosebumps'

After wrapping up the final round of the knockouts, Episode 11 of the ‘The Voice’ Season 19 moved to one of the most-awaited rounds. Yes, we are talking about the 4-way knockout. With an intention to bring their A-game, all the coaches presented their finest contestants for the round.
Team Blake’s Taryn Papa went first on the stage where she crooned the hit single ‘Cry’ by Faith Hill followed by Julia Cooper from John Legend’s team. She decided to serenade the fans with the Billie Eilish’s hit single ‘Wish You Were Gay’. She got a tremendous response from the judges while she was on stage. Next in line was Larriah Jackson from Team Gwen who crooned Adele’s ‘One and Only’ for her 4-way knockout performance.
The last performance of the episode came in the form of Ryan Gallagher from Team Kelly who showed his exceptional singing skills on Andrea Bocelli’s ‘Time To Say Goodbye’. He also got a standing ovation from his coach Kelly and Gwen Stefani after they were left stunned with his powerful set.
Now, what makes the 4-way knockout really interesting is that judges are not allowed to vote or save or steal. It is now only up to the viewers to decide who moves to the next round. The twist is only one singer moves ahead while the other three will have to, unfortunately, head back home. The 4-way knockout also got the attention of the Internet where the majority of them extended their support to Ryan Gallagher.
One user said, “Julia Cooper telling the story, great sound and tenderness. Love the way she caresses the notes. Such a great approach. She’s the one to beat. Give us dynamics girl. #TheVoice #VoiceKnockouts” Another expressed, “If the votes were truly about 'the voice', Ryan would take this knockout hands down. But too many factors impact how people vote that has nothing to do with talent.”
One individual posted, “Ryan Gallagher just won the four way knockout. #TheVoice” Another added, “Ryan Gallagher must be saved. His vocals were far above the others. #TheVoice #VoiceKnockouts” Another shared, “If Ryan Gallagher doesn't get voted thru to the next round of The Voice, then it ain't about your voice.” One user said, “OMG! Ryan's voice is incredible. Gave me goosebumps. America, vote for Ryan!!!!”

In Episode 10 of ‘The Voice’ Season 19, we saw the knockouts moving to the second round. The fans got to witness a lot of drama as the contestants competed for their journey to the next round in the singing reality show. Kelly Clarkson opted for Desz over Sid Kingsley. Luckily, Kingsley got stolen by Blake Shelton after convincing him over John Legend, who had also used the “steal” buzzer.
Kelsie from Kelly’s team got evicted as her opponent Madeline Consoer moved to the next round. For his team, Blake Shelton chose Jim Ranger over Jus Jon and Ian Flanigan over James Pyle. Gwen Stefani, on the other hand, went for Joseph Soul over Van Andrew and Carter Rubin over Chloe Hogan. Chloe was later stolen by John Legend.
‘The Voice’ Season 19 is being hosted by Carson Daly. All the episodes will be aired on NBC. Fans can also catch the singing reality show on the official website of NBC and on their official app along with the network's new streaming service Peacock. Also, we will see Nick Jonas returning as a judge on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in Season 20 replacing Gwen Stefani. The American crooner earlier sat on the big red chair in Season 18.
