The third season of the popular show 'The Night Agent' recently premiered on February 19, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. Contrary to most shows that follow an episodic release pattern, fans can now enjoy all 10 episodes of the Gabriel Basso-led show on the streaming platform. Throughout the latest season, Peter Sutherland is seen contending with the most formidable foes, who are backed by a White House conspiracy that turns out to be deeper than it initially appeared.

Peter Sutherland begins Season 3 by resuming his efforts to penetrate the inner circle of the shady information broker Jacob, who was instrumental in a previous season's plot and had used Peter for his own benefit. Several events soon shake things up after a missile destroys a commercial airplane. A US Treasury Agent then discovers a cryptocurrency wallet that is linked to the chiefs of prominent American companies and was also used by the terrorists who claimed responsibility for the blast. When Sutherland starts investigating, with financial reporter Isabel's help, the duo is hunted down by an unknown assassin. Meanwhile, President Hagan, who is sworn into the White House following extensive collaboration with the criminal bank, assigns Adam to cover their tracks and destroy evidence. Peter and Chelsea Arrington, the First Lady's former Secret Service detail, pair up and give Adam the slip.

Jacob is subsequently killed. Hagan isn't satisfied with the way things are looking for him, and he sends a pair of assassins to take care of Walcott Capital's head, Freya. Isabel has been trying to get Freya to divulge the secrets of the cover-up, and Peter joins forces with them. Miscreants soon break into Freya's condo and tear it apart, sending Freya and Isabel in separate directions to save themselves. Elsewhere, Peter is brutally assaulted by one of the President's goons at the subway station. Nevertheless, he manages to unravel the dirty deeds of Walcott Capital, assisted by Isabel's scathing attacks on the President's ring of corruption, thus proving that the bank is intimately associated with terrorist organizations. It also launders illicit monetary donations from Jacob and whitewashes them to be added to the President's campaign.

This ultimately prompts a Senate investigation and conviction of President Hagan, leading to his exit from the White House and a regime change in Washington, D.C. at the end of Season 3. However, he is not seen being prosecuted for his actions, leaving many to wonder whether justice will truly prevail. Despite being removed from his seat, the closing moments of the show hint that Hagan might still be in the fight. Peter, on the other hand, gears up for his temporary leave during the season finale, only to learn that a new partner is being vetted for him. This neatly sets the stage for a possible Season 4; however, official confirmation is currently awaited.
