Is Wendy Moten going to finale unfair to others?

In the semi-finale episode aired on Monday, December 6, Wendy Moten had performed on ‘You’re All I Need to Get By’ and got a tremendous response from the Internet. However, in the elimination episode, many fans were not happy as singers like Joshua Vacanti, Lana Scott, and the father and son duo Jim and Sasha Allen got evicted and went back home. The social media users debated over how it was unfair to these contestants as Wendy already enjoyed a successful singing career. Speaking of the finale, the next episodes will be aired on December 13 and December 14.

‘It is unfair that she did advance’, says Twitter

Taking to Twitter, one user said, “Jershika is way better than wendy moten... been a reason you were backup singer for so long!” Another shared, “She’s good but there are others that are better.” One person added, “Surprise surprise and the fans were calling this season unfair because of her. No offence to her but she has a professional background so it is unfair that she did advance.”

Meanwhile, one user shared, “Seriously how can anyone vote for her! She's already had success while these others have not and are trying.  Bet they would be happy to have a top 100 song, an album and work with all the stars as she has!” The next one stated, “She's the most experienced singer due to her having 80s hit songs and her established fan base sent her from blinds to top 5 finale”, as another concluded, “Jershika deserved it and never should have had to fight for a spot all along. Also unfair Wendy Motem (Beautiful Voice) is a contestant on the show with her background so I hope one of the other contestants come out on top.”
