Joshua Vacanti from ‘The Voice’ Season 21 has been taking risks since the beginning of the show and he continued the ritual after he sang his rendition of Celine Dion’s ‘Ashes’ written by Season 9 winner Jordan Smith. The New York native’s solo performance in the semifinal episode got a thumbs up from the Internet as well as from the coaches. He was the final performance of the night.
 
Decked up in a formal retro white suit, Joshua Vacanti sang the right notes and falsettos that left his mentor John Legend completely smitten. Apart from his solo performance, Joshua had also performed a thrilling duet with Jershika Maple on the song ‘Hand in My Pocket’. A lot of social media users then claimed that Joshua should definitely be in the top five after the results that will be announced in the next episode.

Ariana Grande, John Legend are all praises for Joshua Vacanti

With his latest performance that was aired on Monday, December 6, Joshua claimed that he wanted to inspire and show once again that he could take on anything. While speaking to Joshua after his performance, Ariana Grande claimed that the technicalities he showed during the set were really impressive. John chimed in to dub Joshua as a “storyteller” that always met the moment of the song with his stage performance. Joshua was also praised for his duet for tweaking the traditional arrangement of the song. Speaking of the semifinal, the next episode will be aired on Tuesday, December 7 and will see three singers heading back home leaving only the top 5 for the finale.

The viewers of ‘The Voice’, who earlier used to spew venom on the singer’s performances, praised him for his set. “Put him in the finale or cancel the show”, said one user as another stated, “Flawless performance as always Joshua.” Another stated, “Joshua’s voice is WOW!!! Literally almost had me in tears! I felt all the feels! So beautiful!”  
 
The next one tweeted, “My top 3 are Joshua, girl named tom, and Wendy but everyone was so good tonight!!” Another user shared, “Joshua NEEDS to make it to the finale. his talent is insane !!!!!!” One posted, “JOSHUA WHAT WHATTT … I’m done #TheVoice y’all better vote for my boy into the finale my goodness. The vocals, falsettos, the emotions, the stage, the performance, just wow. Celine would be proud.”  Meanwhile, another user shared, “I’m sorry but joshua IS and ALWAYS the moment.” And, one concluded, “I could listen to @joshuavacanti sing forever. Truly the voice of an angel. He’s so technically perfect while also having so much emotion and masterful storytelling. It’s really something else.
