LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the knockouts round coming to an end on Monday, the competition is heating up on 'The Voice' Season 22. Team Gwen's Alyssa Witrado, Daysia, and Sasha Hurtado, took to the stage to compete for a spot on Gwen Stefani's team.

19-year-old Alyssa kicked off the performance by crooning to Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now', which was followed by Daysia's stellar performance to 'Get Here' by Oleta Adams that had Gwen crying. Finally, former Team Camila's Sasha Hurtado stepped onto the stage and gave a flawless performance to 'Make it Rain' by Ed Sheeran. Though all three teens put on a spectacular show, which left their coach Gwen, spoilt for choice when it came to picking a winner, Alyssa was finally crowned the winner. Alyssa, who is a die-hard Gwen fan, reminded John of  Gwen herself during the performance. To which Gwen proudly responded by claiming that she was her daughter! As Daysia and Sasha prepared to leave the competition, John Legend saved the day by using his steal option on Sasha!

While Gwen was busy contemplating who to pick as her winner, both Blake Shelton and John pointed at Sasha as their winner. Blake declared that the 18-year-old sang incredibly while taking a dig at his fellow coach Camila for letting go of someone as talented as her from the team. While calling herself an "idiot" Camila declared that her former team member was a force to be reckoned with considering her young age. On the other hand, John was in awe of Sasha's "flawless" performance. He said, "Every note you hit was flawless" while praising the super-high” part of her head voice, and the vibrato. Declaring her a "tour-de-force", John named Sasha as his winner.

To everybody's surprise, Gwen chose to ignore her fellow coaches' advice to pick Sasha as the winner and instead chose Alyssa as the winner. But John wasn't ready to let go of Sasha just yet, and hit his steal button to retain the teenager in the competition! 'The voice' fans too seemed pleased with John's decision to steal her, as many felt that her performance was the best amongst the three in the knockouts round.

A fan commented on the show's YouTube clip of the performance, "Sasha is the best out of the 3. Better control of her voice and she did the best I think." "They were all great and unique in their own way, but my vote goes to Sasha," wrote a fan. "Sasha had the best performance I think the way she sang on point but also put some feeling into the lyrics was really cool the "christmas vibe" i got from alyssa was cool to," noted a fan. "Did not expect that. I was anticipating Alyssa would be at the top, but Sasha killed!" added a fan.

'The Voice' Season 22 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
