Great for toilet paper’: Internet slams 'The View' co-host Sunny Hostin’s book ‘Summer on Sag Harbor’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If you’re an avid reader and also a fan of ‘The View’, chances are you have heard about co-host Sunny Hostin’s new book. Yes, Hostin has been under the scrutiny of the media and viewers but that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to follow her dreams. Hostin’s latest book is titled ‘Summer on Sag Harbor’ and ‘The View’ as well as Hostin herself have promoted the book on social media and the fans aren’t too thrilled.
As mentioned earlier, Hostin has faced a lot of heat, especially from fans of ‘The View’ who aren’t too thrilled about her behavior. From talking over co-hosts to trying to play the sympathy card, fans aren’t pleased. Of course, this also means that they most certainly have some interesting thoughts about Hostin’s latest book.

Fans have taken ‘The View’s social media platforms by storm after they tried to promote Hostin’ newest novel. The comments ranged from offensive to outright hilarious. So if you haven’t made your choice of beverage yet, we suggest you do that before diving into these reactions! One fan tweeted, “The “How to be a RACIST book.” Hostin has often been accused of being racist, and this fan really highlights that in their tweet!
Another fan wrote on Twitter, “This is hysterical!! 😂😂😂 Can’t think of one individual who remotely wants to read that….maybe Manny….because she would make him read it.” For a little context, Manny is Hostin’s husband.
Some viewers decided to recommend other books instead of reading Hostin’s latest as one tweeted, “Instead of reading this trash fiction book written for her try reading a real book that is outselling Sunny Hostin’s already.”

Hostin and her book have been called a lot of things but one person compared it to toilet paper as they said, “Great for toilet paper!” Does that mean they are buying her book at least?
Of course, ‘The View’s Twitter isn’t the only place viewers left remarks, but also on Hostin’s Twitter where she promoted her book. One of the users tweeted, "I’m sure they make great door stoppers 😊” So if not toilet paper, it can at least be used as a door stopper!
Lastly, to top it all off, one viewer tried to sum up how most of them are feeling about this book as they tweeted, “Hard pass.”
Well, based on these reactions, we’re a little unsure how well Hostin’s ‘Summer on Sag Harbor’ will do in the market, but as they say, any publicity is good publicity, right?
