The 'Roskilde Festival' has closed the line-up of its 50th-anniversary event, adding scheduled performances from The Strokes, Kendrick Lamar, Haim and Charli XCX. The same was announced on February 27. The 2020 Danish festival announced an additional 110 acts set to take place June 24 to July 4, making a total of over 180. Previously announced artists include Taylor Swift, Thom Yorke's Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, Tyler, The Creator, FKA Twigs, Faith No More, Kacey Musgraves and more.

Anders Wahrén, the  'Roskilde Festival’s' Head of Programme, shared a vision for the festival in a release, saying, “With this year's line-up, we do what we've always done: look ahead". He adds, according to Billboard, "It has been important to us that festival no. 50 points to the future and that is why 2020 will feature the lowest average age ever among the headliners. You don't have to have 20 years of experience to perform on the main stage. That era is over".

Some of the new additions to hit Denmark 'Roskilde Festival' stage include DaBaby, The Roots, Dave, Brittany Howard, Ride, Bicep, Big Thief, Tinariwen, Perfume Genius and Waxahatchee.

The 100% non-profit event will have performances on eight stages and include over 130,000 music lovers coming together to watch their favorite artists for a full week. One of the largest music fests in Europe and the largest in Northern Europe held south of Roskilde, the 'Roskilde Festival' sees performances from an extensive and varied list of artists, and brings the expression of music to a large crowd, good food, community, and party.

All profits are donated to cultural and social and charities by the Roskilde Festival Charity Society. Since its origin in the '70s, the huge fest has generated more than €55 million (approximately $60.3 million US)  to charity.

The festival is held right next to the Danish capital of Copenhagen and can be reached easily by train, bus and or through the Copenhagen Airport.
