'The Murders at White House Farm': Meet Stephen Graham, Cressida Bonas and the rest of the cast of drama thriller on HBO Max
There’s something about true-crime series which gets audiences excited. From interviews with the real killer to re-visiting an unsolved murder and dramatization of a real crime story, fans are just happy with almost anything related to this genre. HBO Max's upcoming drama thriller titled 'The Murders at White House Farm' is a six-part series that is based on the murders of members of a family on an English farm back in the 1980s. It was originally broadcasted by ITV on January 8, 2020.
The synopsis reads, "An infamous true crime story. Over thirty years ago, three generations of one family were murdered at their isolated farm. Initial evidence pointed the finger at the daughter of the family who had a history of mental illness, however one detective refused to accept this and delved deeper into the investigation. His determination uncovered new evidence that shed suspicion on another family member. This is a dramatized true crime story based on extensive research, interviews, and published accounts, looking at the mystery behind what happened that fateful day."

Stephen Graham as DCI Taff Jones
The English actor is known for film roles such as Tommy in ‘Snatch’ (2000), Shang in ‘Gangs of New York’ (2002), ‘Baby Face Nelson’ in Public Enemies (2009) and Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano in ‘The Irishman (2019)’. He also portrayed the role of Scrum in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series films ‘On Stranger Tides’ (2011) and ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ (2017). His television work includes the fifth series of the BBC One show ‘Line of Duty’ (2019), HBO series ‘Boardwalk Empire’ (2010–2014) and the BBC/FX miniseries ‘A Christmas Carol’ (2019).
Freddie Fox as Jeremy Bamber
Fox is known for his roles as King Louis from 'The Three Musketeers' (2011), Finnegan from 'Victor Frankenstein' (2015), and Rubio on 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword' (2017). He comes from a family of actors: his mother is actress Joanna David, his father is actor Edward Fox and his elder sister is actress Emilia Fox, who played Dorota in ‘The Pianist’ -- directed by Roman Polanski. The actor in 2015 had told The Telegraph that he doesn’t like to label his sexuality and he would fall in love with people and not sexes. His recent television works include 'Watership Down' (2018), TV mini-series 'Year of the Rabbit' (2019), and 'McDonald & Dodds' (2020).
Cressida Bonas as Sheila Caffell
The English actress and model has acted in the one-woman play, ‘An Evening with Lucian Freud’, by Laura-Jane Foley, at the Leicester Square Theatre. She has modeled for Burberry and Mulberry. She appeared in a TV ad for the latter. However, a few years ago she made headlines because she was dating Prince Harry. As per reports, in 2012, Princess Eugenie introduced her to her cousin Prince Harry. The pair split in 2014, but were in good terms. She even attended the prince's wedding with Meghan Markle in 2018.
Mark Addy as DS Stan Jones
Most would remember him as King Robert Baratheon in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. But his career includes other memorable roles such as Fred Flintstone in 'The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas' (2000), Bill Miller in the CBS sitcom 'Still Standing' (2002–2006). For his role as Dave Horsefall in the 1997 movie ‘The Full Monty’, he had earned a nomination for BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Alfie Allens as Brett Collins
He is best known for playing Theon Greyjoy in the television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which he came to international attention and received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2019. His early work included small roles in Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. He also had roles in 'Soulboy', 'The Kid', 'Freestyle' and 'Powder' in 2010. In 2012, he starred in the British thriller 'Confine'. In 2016, Allen filmed a two-part documentary for the History Channel titled 'Football: A Brief History' exploring the roots of Association Football and his take on the English game.
