'The Masked Singer' Season 2: The Thingamajig, Butterfly and Black Widow have the highest chances of winning
'The Masked Singer' season 2 recently premiered, and we already witnessed five celebrities get unmasked on the series. But with the competition just getting heated up with its cryptic and confusing clues, it has come down to see who will last the longest and has the highest chance of making it to the finals.
To date, five celebrities have been unmasked. The Egg - Johnny Weir, Ice-Cream - Ninja, Panda - Laila Ali, Eagle - Dr. Drew Pinsky, and Skeleton - Paul Shaffer. With the series returning again on Wednesday night, we can't wait to see the next set of masked celebrities take to the stage and give their best performance all in the hopes of not getting unmasked and making it to the finals.
After taking a look at the fan-favorite masked singers this season, and their performances, here are three masked celebrities who we think have a high chance of making it to the finale and winning this season.
Thingamajig
The Thingamajig has been a fan favorite ever since he set foot on stage. The tall furry singing-dancing Thingamajig stunned everyone with his vocals during the premiere. The clues about him have led fans and judges to believe that it mostly might be Indiana Pacers point guard Victor Oladipo under the mask. The reason why we predict that the Thingamajig has what it takes to make it all the way is because apart from being cute, furry and having an exceptional voice, he also has an emotional side to him, just like last season winner, the Monster - T-Pain. And that seems to work well not only with the judges but also the fans, and we got to see that last week when he delivered an emotional performance to Kacy Musgraves - Rainbow. He made Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong tear up and get emotional.
Butterfly
The glittery and fluttery Butterfly is our next prediction when it comes to the masked singers who have a high chance of making it all the way this season. She has the sass, pizzaz, and bling that captivates everyone. And just like the Thingamajig she also has an emotional side to her. Talking about depression, and fear of the place she once called home, the Butterfly has fans and viewers hooked to her performance every week, trying to guess who it is behind the mask. To date, fans predict that it might be Michelle Williams under the mask.
Black Widow
She knows how to make a stunning entrance, and how to keep the judges and fans entertained even when not singing. She is one strong singer not just because of the sass and fun she brings to the stage, but also because of her strong vocals. For her premiere performance, the Black Widow belted out her rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' with ease. Fans predict that it might be Raven Symone under the costume.
'The Masked Singer' season 2 airs every Wednesday night only on Fox. Check your local listings for more information.
