For the first five weeks of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’, the series did a phenomenal job of building up a story that took us to some of the most iconic places in Middle Earth. Viewers got to know that Adar, half elf/half Orc, was leading an army of Orcs to take over the Southlands and spread darkness across Middle Earth. The ending of Episode 5 made us believe that it’s time for Arondir and everyone to get ready for the battle and that’s what we got.

‘Udun’ had everything that fans were expecting to see from an action-filled episode. The emphasis of tonight’s episode was on the battle between Adar and the people of Tirhadad. However, Numenor’s army, along with Galadriel and Halbrand, reached the right time to provide the much-needed assistance. After an epic battle sequence, Galadriel was able to capture Adar and had a conversation about Sauron. She asked about Sauron’s whereabouts, but he revealed that he killed Sauron after sacrificing a lot of his children for his aspirations.
