The ‘Lord of the Rings’ universe is filled with extraordinary characters and each of those characters has distinctive qualities. Amazon’s ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ has continued the legacy of introducing powerful characters in the series and one of them is Bronwyn of Tirhadad. Played by the supremely talented Nazanin Boniadi, the character is a mother and healer who owns an apothecary in the village of Tirhadad.
From the very beginning, Bronwyn is shown as someone who is fierce and has a strong will. In Episode 5, she didn’t shy away from taking the charge and asking her people to get together and fight evil. Meanwhile, in tonight’s episode, she goes one step ahead and becomes one of the most important people in the battle.

As the battle started, Bronwyn killed a couple of Orcs with the help of a sword and took the army by storm when she stopped the enemies in their tracks by lighting up some of the members of the Orcs army. The battle continues and an epic fight takes place between Arondir and a giant Orc. Despite losing his eye, the Orc continues to dominate Arondir and was this close to inserting a dagger in his body. However, Bronwyn comes there at the right time and kills the Orc from behind. A few moments later we saw the people of Tirhadad celebrating their victory. However, they soon find that most of the victims were a part of their own village and are those who joined Adar thinking that if they support him, they won’t face the wrath of the dark lord.
As they mourn the loss of their own in the battle, the remaining members of the Orc army take them by surprise and start killing and injuring people through arrows. Unfortunately, Bronwyn gets hit by an arrow just below her left shoulder and is losing blood. Everyone gets inside a tavern and locks it. Bronwyn’s condition is getting worse and the only way to bring her back is to use Alfirin seeds and a wood that is on fire.
Arondir applies the seeds on both sides of the wound and seals the wound with wood that is really hot. Arondir believes that it will stop the bleeding. Even though the bleeding stops, Bronwyn’s condition worsens and she collapses. Everyone feels that she has died because she doesn’t get up for some seconds, but the seeds show their magic and bring her back to life. Theo, her son, and Arondir are really happy that the most important woman of their life is back with them.
It was a tense moment for everyone because she has been a leader and losing her would have been a huge loss. Luckily, we will be seeing Bronwyn’s fiery side in the upcoming episodes as well.
