'The Last of Us' season finale trailer out: Yet another voice actor from original game introduced
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It might come as an understatement when we say we are hooked to HBO Max show 'The Last of Us'. The show first premiered in January this year and has already been the talk of the town. From bringing back the original game characters to featuring the voice actors from the game in cameos, as they did with Troy Baker, the actor who played and voiced Joel in the original computer game. Baker turned up as James, David's right-hand man.
We are just a few days away from the season finale, and while the channel has already released a trailer for it, let us assure you that it's going to be "sensational". A key voice actor, who voiced Ellie's voice in the original game has been introduced to the series finale and that will bring the story of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie's (Bella Ramsey) journey to a full circle.

Who was the voice actor of Ellie in the game?
The season finale will go back and forth from the present to the past and tell a story that will conclude Season 1. Anna is shown as Ellie's mother on the show, but here's an interesting part, Anna is played by Actor Ashley Johnson who originally voiced Ellie in the original video game of the same name and its popular sequel, 'The Last of Us' Part II. While Bella Ramsey was eventually cast as Ellie, as Johnson was too old to convincingly play Ellie in the HBO series, Johnson joined the show to play Ellie's mother in the Season 1 finale. Ashley Johnson has been praised profusely for her performance as Ellie in the game, not only that, but she has also won two BAFTA awards for the role. Johnson gave a great persona and a personal touch that created the most loved character, Ellie and Bella Ramsey brought perfectly to the screens.
What happens in the season finale?
There is too much happening in the trailer. The past shows the part where Anna was pregnant with Ellie and is seen struggling and running from the infected, while in the present Joel and Ellie are taking big steps to conclude their journey of meeting the Fireflies. The season finale will show Anna giving birth to Ellie while fighting with the infected, and later getting bitten by one. It is our speculation that this will answer our questions about Ellie's rare immunity from the Cordyceps infection that cursed humanity and erased half of the population. The finale will also answer the question of how Ellie ended up in military school, and if Anna survived the attack. But Anna's entry will surely be the last puzzle piece that will truly conclude Season 1 and which is needed for the audience to get a proper conclusion and have all their unanswered questions answered.
The season finale of 'The Last of Us' will air on Sunday, March 12.
