BAFTA Film Awards 2023 Nominations: From 'The Whale' to 'The Banshees of Inisherin,' here's the full list
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Dear readers, it is that time of the year again. Time for the British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTA Film Awards. After Golden Globes and Critics' Choice, fans have been impatiently waiting for the BAFTA nominations to unveil, and it finally has. Last year was a huge year for movies, be it Brendan Fraser's 'The Whale' or Martin McDonagh’s Irish drama 'The Banshees of Inisherins,' one couldn't choose which is better.
Safe to say, in the last 73 years the prestigious award ceremony, BAFTA is known to honor the best British and international contributions to films, better than most. Although this year there were a few surprises among the 24 categories, which showed a strong inclination for 'All Quiet on the Western Front,' which i leading with 14 nominations. This year the ceremony also shifted to a new location. For the last 5 years, the ceremony was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London and now it is going to be held at the Royal Festival Hall for the 2023 ceremony.
